Bute is the typical North American fighter who willl be taken down when he faces Ward, Dirrell, or Green. He will not even get a chance to reach Euro-level before he is exposed. He will be KO'ED BRUTALLY when he faces any of the above-mentioned fighters.
no one deserves to clearly be labelled number 1. the winner of the super 6 is the number 1, untill that happens, none of them have proven that they deserve to be number 1.
Allan Green came in as an underdog and destroyed a highly regarded, undefeated prospect in Codrington.. The same codrington who took Bika to hell and back.. And that same bika made Bute look like ****... Did Bute ever came in as an underdog and caused an upset?? of course not, cuz he's never fought anybody... And KEssler have better resume than Bute also.. So yea, a win over Green and Kessler is light years better than what Bute has done so far.
Yea ok, he will be taken down by typicals North American fighters such as Ward, Dirrell and ESPECIALLY ALLEN GREEN!!! That is boxing knowledge!!!
For your info, Green lost to MIRANDA by UD!!!! To MIRANDA by a UD!!!! How can u even mention him.... Bute destroyed that guy in 3 rounds.... Who has Kessler beaten worthy of knowing??? Mundine? Sartison? Beyer? please, the only reason Kessler is known is because he "won" three or four rounds with joe calzaghe
Lucian Bute is in a rather unfortunate position. According to Ken Hershman Showtime/Sauerland did not invite Bute or Pavlik to participate in the Super Six because including them would cost to much. The fact that certain fighters were excluded on the basis of cost makes it obvious that the tournament was never about "the best fighting the best." It's about making money; creating a profitable illusion. The tournament left Bute with damn few choices, and when Pavlik lost to Martinez, the situation got even worse. There is no possible way for Bute to keep up on the resume' level. When the tourney starts to eliminate fighters, those fighters will be coming off a loss, or possibly even back to back losses. They will not be anxious to climb in the ring with Bute. We've heard very little from Team Pavlik lately. The little bit of info we do have indicates that a 175 pound tune-up in November is the most likely scenario. That would move any possible Bute/Pavlik clash out to Spring 2011 at the very earliest, and Bute would have to move up. Lucian is a big SMW. I think he would be fine at 175. Another split sight event with Bute/Dawson in Montreal, and Pavlik/Cloud in Atlantic City would no doubt produce some serious fireworks, and set-up a huge unification fight between the winners. Right now, and in the near future, there is simply no way for Lucian Bute to prove himself at 168. On the other hand, Bute, Dawson, Cloud, Pavlik, Pascal, Henry, and a couple others all looking for light heavyweight supremacy would produce some damn good fights.
Bute should not be ranked any higher than 5th in the SMW division. If you do not fight the best then you can not be considered the best.
He had one "take it easy fight" against joppy He fought his mandatory Andrade twice He fought the man that showtime demanded dangerous puncher Zuniga immediately after Andrade controversy when many thought he wasn't that good. He fought the man HBO demanded dangerous puncher Miranda. Meanwhile Kessler had some legal problems with his former manager ...even so, they talked a bit of a possible future fight , the WBC belt was vacant then Froch fought Taylor after some negotiations for a unification bout Froch joined the s6. Ward and Dirrell where just some prospects. He tried to Kick A.Green ass 2 times ... Green was scared at thought of a Bute fight This content is protected At The Zuniga post fight conference he was asked if he is willing to travel in USA for a fight against Pavlik or Taylor(he didn't fought Froch at that time) . The answer was Bien sûr that means of course then he added any time
"C" level, at best. This will become apparent when he FINALLY steps up his opposition from the "C" level opponent seen in this clip. :yep
How can any of the super six claim that they are the best ; Let's say you make a super six in the Heavyweight division and puttin in spot number 3 of the ring magazine list till number 8, so you don't include the Klitschkos, should they loose the number one and champ spot because, they are not fighting in that tournament even though they are ranked higher that the contestant. This is just an example, I'm not comparing Bute to the Klits, only comparing your example of not fighting the best, because Bute was ranked number 1 before the tournament began...
