    Working by decade, the forties were absolutely jam packed.

    Archie Moore, Tony Zale, Ezzard Charles, Charley Burley, Holman Williams, Fred Apostoli, Jake LaMotta, Marcel Cerdan, Sugar Ray Robinson, Graziano, Sands, Turpin, Hostack, Lytell, Booker, Chase, Cocoa Kid, Lytell, Wade, plus all the guys i'm forgetting.

    Pretty horrific. You could be a brilliant MW and get lost in that lot.

    The depth of the 1940's really leaps out at you; all familiar faces.

    You had cornerstone talent - Robinson, Zale and Cerdan getting pushed to the brink by the outstanding grit of iron men like Georgie Abrams.

    Perhaps guilty of falling a little under the scope is the 1910's; Mike Gibbons, Packey McFarland, Harry Greb, Les Darcy, Jack Dillon, Jeff Smith, Eddie McGoorty, Billy Miske, Mike O' Dowd.
