Wlad is too stiff and one dimensional to beat a prime Tyson.

A simple 1-2 is not enough to beat one of the best inside fighters in the superheavyweight era. Fighters who had success against Tyson, had more in their arsenal than the one thing Tyson was designed to avoid using his headmovement and his already short stature.

Guys that managed to hit him did so with uppercuts, and managed to nulify his offense to a certain extent by bending at the waist. Wlad has no uppercut and seems incapable at bending at the waist. Wlad is a very good heavyweight and can easily beat stiffs like Chagaev, Chambers, and Povetkin, along with many of the other guys who are big and slow, but he will have major problems against Tyson.

For one Wlad has a problem when facing guys with good chin and power. This is evident first of all in the fact that he's been knocked down an uprecedented 11 times, seems to have panic attacks, and was even given the business by a slow motion power punching Sam Peter.

Tony Tucker is probably the closest version to Wlad that a prime Tyson fought in terms of physical size in ability, but unlike Wlad Tucker was less disciplined, and did not sit on his punches as often as Wlad. But Tucker also fought in an era where heavies were typically more dedicated to training and came in shape, which made it relatively difficult to continually set your feet compared to today's standards.

Tucker also had a chin and uppercuts, but regardless was still whitewashed on the scorecards.

An older Tyson fought Lennox Lewis, but Lennox is also faster than Wlad, with a much more versatile offense. Lennox would not have been able to beat even this older version of Tyson without implimenting uppercuts which are practically non existant in Wlad's arsenal. Lennox is also more fluid than Wlad and capable of slipping punches. Not to mention that Lennox was not scared to get into an actual fight, which is important to injure Mike psyche. Wlad's negative, scared approach, would fall right into Mike's hands.

Wlad's defense is a combination of being tall and leaning back and away from punches. This is not enough against Tyson.

    Tyson would knock Wlad out.

Tyson is too small and too one dimensional to reach Klitschkos chin and to keep walking Klitschko down for more than 4-5 rounds.

    Prime Klitschko UD12 Tyson.

Tyson couldnt reach Tucker for example, how he will reach a defensive master like Steward-Klitschko

Yet he managed to reach Lennox's Lewis' chin and Tony Tuckers.

This quote is idiotic at best.

And Klitschko isn't one dimensional? He has two punches in his arsenal, and can only fight going backwards. You put him in an actual fight, panic sets in.

An old Tyson managed to make it into a fight with Lewis, and Lewis obliged because he has more in his arsenal than a 1-2.

And Tyson looked clearly slower, and more lethargic in this fight than he was when he was prime. He definitely lost a step, and appeared to be sucking wind as early as the 1st round.

You are the typical Tyson nuthugger. Tyson was no god and he was beatable. Ask Buster Douglas. Klitschko is a league above Douglas.

calling tyson one dimensional and then praising a 1-2 fighter like wlad is really really dumb

    :patsch'

Obviously, you have no idea how to analyze styles.

Buster Douglas beat Tyson because he was fluid, could bend at the waist, managed to establish distance, and hit Tyson with hard and fast uppercuts when Tyson did close in.

What part of WLAD HAS NO UPPERCUT AND IS NOT FLUID, do you not understand?

I'll tell you what, you provide me with documented evidence of Wlad bending at the waist, and I'll give you one point.

    Good luck.

Douglas had the fight of his life that night and He could have beaten almost anyone that night. A lot of people talk about that fight and have not watched it recently. Tyson's head was a mess at that point in his career. I am not a tyson fan, in fact i hated the guy back in the day . . . but he would eat every heavyweight today's kids! the younger bros would act like a deer in headlights and shite his pants!

I don't even want to get into with Vitali, as that's an entirely seperate thread and deserves its own analyisis, but when it comes to Wlad, Tyson BEATS Wlad.

    Tyson KO2.

The highly elusive peak Tyson would close the distance very fast while slipping the jab and unload deadly combinations, obliterating Wlad early.
Big safety-first mechanical robots like Wlad & Vitali are stylistically tailor made for Tyson.

It wouldn't matter what type of style either Klit would deploy against a PRIME Tyson.
The bottom line is, Mike would seriously tag them very early in RD 1, and neither klit has ever been hit with the kind of accurate, high velocity killer punch that Tyson threw in the first seconds of RD 1.

Also, many fighters have trouble punching "up" at the Klits. Tyson never had this problem. He'd bang the Klits to the body and when they dropped their noggins, it would be meet by one of those Tyson thunder uppercuts. Fight over!
Mike would then extend his hand to help them off the canvas, but Vitali still would see 3 hands.

Really, either Klit is much too slow and robotic to compete with a PRIME tyson.
Tyson is a serious student of the science and would have the Klits figured out in the first few seconds of the round.

KLIT fan-natics, please stop embarassing yourselves and the Klits by subjecting them to this impossible task. Be happy there is no Mike Tyson around today, and enjoy Klit wins over soup cans and bums.
