The difference here is: DLH is bigger AND better. Well, maybe not these days, but he was in his prime.

I don't think Pac CAN fight like that. And even if he could, he wouldn't do it anywhere near as effectively as Floyd, who is a master at that style.

Therefore, IMO, no matter what Pac does, DLH KO's him. Because he is huge in comparison, hits like a truck (just ask someone like Mayorga), and is still pretty fast. Not to mention him having an iron jaw.

Regardless, Manny'll never move up that far anyway. It's a moot point.

I'm no PBF fan, but he is great at what he does, and it wins him fights.

“I want to fight the best fighters. And if ever Pacquiao moves up in 147 I will be there for the challenge,” said de la Hoya.

I have gave perfectly good reasons in the past why De La Hoya will make 147lbs again.

What fools you, but not me. He's fought at 154lbs since since 2001.

He's not a natural jr middleweight, and walks around at around 152lbs. Before sharing a ring with Mayorga he was ready to step back down to welterweight. But the opportunity came against Mayorga as a title was on the line against a decent name opponent. They built up the fight with the billing "danger zone" which fooled the casual boxing fan to buy the fight. It done over 900,00 buys.

De La Hoya may well be taller than Mosley, but when they both fought at 154lbs, Mosley was much thicker. De La Hoya is a pretty tall person at around 5' 10", but he's not a broad shouldered big man who walks around at 180lbs. Fighters like Vargas and Wright were full blown natural jr middleweights. They would have been very hard pushed to make welterweight.

I would say De La Hoya is pretty near the same physical stature as someone like Margarito.

    He'll make 147lbs, trust me.

Actually Pac has the longer ARMS. Pac has 25" while DLH was only 24".
