Just done watcning Lesnar Vs Carwin...I rarely listen to the commentators (i just find them too ****ing annoying)..But i did for this fight , i don't know the other's guy's name..(i know Rogan) , but the other moron... omg  the layers upon layers..upon layers of bull****. what a clueless , idiot... The fight was ****...But he made it even worse....
How was that fight ****? Lesnar gets brutalized for the first round and then comes out and gets a choke in the second. Great fight. Worthy main of event with two amazing undercard bouts.
It was an ok fight I wouldn't say it was great thats for sure. Akiyama/Leben and Polish guy/Stuffin' Boner where great fights though.
Good for you , it was **** as far as i'm concerned..glad you enjoyed it , but i didn't. Carwin gassed in no time. (he was clearly gassed by the end of round 1)... Which is a ****ing embarrassment for a title fight. Lesnar looked ...well , like usual..(& that's not saying much really)...The fight should've been stopped early in the first , since he wasn't responding to carwin's strikes...but the ref probably must've had special instructions (kinda like they did with Kimbo)..afterall , he's ufc's cashcow. I'm still glad Lesnar won though... Carwin isn't champion material...i'd rather see JDS...or even the one dimensional (but very endurant) Cain Velasquez take the belt
Mike Goldberg is a shameless muppet. Can't stand the bull**** this guy talks. He's the guy who introduced Kimbo as "MMA Legend, Kimbo Slice". That says everything right there what he's about.
Yes, Goldberg...that's his name. ****in' hell...this guy is a super ****. a shameless muppet indeed...what a *****.
you are totally right man. the ref should have stopped the fight because there was no way lesnar would have been able to come back and win. what a colossal error.
A lot of people are saying the exact same thing. I watched the fight numerous times and as much as I want to agree, I can't do it. Brock was blocking most of the shots, which were somewhat sloppy. He was able to push Carwin away with his legs a few times so that has to be taken in account. Put it like this: if that had been your favorite fighter who was in the same position Lesnar was in, would you want the ref to stop it that early even if he didn't truly feel your fighter is seriously hurt? As it turned out the ref made a good decision because Lesnar DOES have what it takes to come back and win despite being dominated. A fight doesn't last 1 round but rather 3 or 5 rounds and it should be extended as far as possible. Besides, if you are the champion, regardless of what your name is, I believe you should get the benefit of the doubt.
Did i say that ? ...Yeah he did come back & win... But what i'm deploring is that there is a double standard. When guys like Kimbo or Lesnar are in a situation like this...The ref takes his time...when a different fighter is in the same situation...he'll sometimes stop it without thinking twice... You see this in japanese mma sometimes...They let the local , japanese hero get beat up....(in this case , he'll either manage to make a come back & win...or he'll get beat up...like sakuraba did against arona for instance)... The game isn't fair for all fighters. If you're gonna give Lesnar 2nd chances , you might as well do the same for everyone else.
I'll tell you what though...No matter how you look at it. The fight was ****. I'm sorry but a contender who gasses right in the first round ?...is this really the best the ufc has to offer ? It's bull****. These are just guys who "look the part". I already posted a thread about Carwin here... http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=235757 That pretty much was my opinion even before he fought Lesnar. This HW division has zero , capable , submission artists...The best one they have is Frank Mir... (which isn't saying much) http://mmavideolinks.to/fighter-videos/164/1613-frank-mir-vs-ian-freeman-download.html [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dj5xMeXybs[/ame] He's never..NEVER been known to handle heavy situations on the ground...He panics in no time. Then they have nogueira. who's nothing more than a zombie now. (a guy who should've retired in 2006)...He looked like utter **** against Sylvia & even heath herring...(he almost got koed out cold against heath) and that's a guy he used to totally dominate a few years back. They have 2 good strikers...JDS and Gilbert Yvel...(Kongo is better when compared to non-strikers but otherwise , pretty overrated compared to most pro kickboxers) The only positif thing i see in the hw division (so far) is the fact that we won't have mir vs Lesnar 3 anytime soon... There's too many one dimensional fighters in this division. Way too many. The ideal hw division should reunite everyone under the same roof. Sadly , it's not the case. it's bad for the sport. it's a problem which plagues too many fighting sports. You see the same **** in boxing anyway. (well , not exactly the same) but promoters always have a hard time giving the fans what they truely want. By the time Mayweather vs Pacquiao will happen...one of them will be past his prime... Like when dana gave us Wanderlei vs Liddell...or Couture vs Nogueira.... it was too ****ing late.
