yeah...i think manny is just happy to fight, so as long as he makes his $ and gets to throw his hands, he isn't too picky

also think he is easily handled by his managers, etc.

    bad combo for opponent selection

i still think the only way this happens is is pac, may, and a translator sit in a room and hack out the details themselves

I'm a fan of MMA as well and this past Saturday they just had arguably their biggest fight ever. What's so great is there wasn't even the slightest hesitation to set up the fight. I so damn wish negotiations in Boxing was as easy. It's a shame. A damn shame. If it weren't for the Super 6 I don't know if I'd still be interested in Boxing. You can only deal with so much BS.

If the mega fight doesn't happen I think Pac ends up fighting Cotto again. Hope Cotto wins. That would at least raise some eyebrows. Floyd will probably end up fighting Berto or Matt Hatton. If I'm Floyd I'd try and make it up to the fans by fighting either Paul or Sergio.

to be fair lesner and the other guy would have got no more than £2mil each. so if they are haggling over 5% its $200,000. Pacquiao and Mayweather haggling over 5% is $10,000,000. and ufc is the one promoter. they already have a contract in place with UFC that they will fight x amount of times a year for a minimum of x. i am not defending Pacquiao and Mayweather, agree its bull**** but you cannot compare. if lesner was in a position to negotiate a better deal he would have done.

If Floyd doesnt face Pacquiao it wil be Martinez or Bradley and then Khan in the UK.

I realize Boxing and MMA are two different businesses. But you're missing the point. We shouldn't have to deal with the hassle. Granted there's an understandable reason for it. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't search for a solution to the problem. MMA, NFL, MLB, and NBA are all major sports that guarantee fans ideal competition. Boxing SHOULD belong in the same group. Something has to be done. I'm no expert so don't expect me to come up with an answer but we shouldn't have to beg for a fight like Pac vs. Floyd.

body language tells me this fight will never happen.

the fact floyd cherry picks his opponents says it will never happen

the excuses he makes says it will never happen

the fear pacman strikes into his rivals

would love to know what hatton thinks, he has insider knowledge

i jus hope this fight happens i do not wanna have to keep thinking about what if's for this fight its too many scenarios that could happen so many angles to this fight #1 P4P fighters (interchangeable)...arguments over FOTD, FOTY, different styles, different personas....just so much all wrapped up in one clash of giants in the boxing sport.....boxing has to have this fight...yes it will go on if it didnt happe but man i cant see something of this magnitude comming around again anytime soon for boxing.

they need to close this chapter in boxing!

If it doesnt happen I fully blame Arum.

Last time it wasnt clear if Pacquaio had ever been given Mayweather's compromise of 14 days no testing. Everything that Roach says that Pac is willing to accept conflicts with everything that Arum says.

On top of that, Arum going on about how talking publicly about the negotiations last time killed the fight, yet he is doing exactly that the entire time this time around and in fact he is the only one doing it.

Being a ******* myself, i know something's fishy with Arum's cooperation on wanting this fight to happen.

I do know that PAcquiao wants this fight, that part is established.
