http://www.sportal.de/sportal/genera...986800000.html Question: You also have a stake in David Haye. What's new with him? Kalle Sauerland: David is keen on fighting one of the Klitschko brothers. But the devil lies in the financial details. There are multiple parties with a financial interest/stake in Haye's fights, we're just one of those parties. Haye has become a national superstar in the UK and thus the conditions have changed. Haye earns as much money in the UK as the Klitschkos earn in Germany, therefore that makes reaching a deal much more difficult. We have to insist on a sensible financial agreement. Question: K2's Bernd Bönte was on record recently that the disagreement was not based on the financials but on other issues. Kalle Sauerland: We disagree with that notion. Haye wanted to box for the title immediately, he wants the big fights immediately. He knows about his talent and potential, he was the undisputed cruiserweight champion. So far there has been a disagreement regarding the financial issues. Haye is ready to fight any time.
Financially the goalposts have clearly moved from when Haye had just moved up from Cruiser and was chasing a fight with the Klits at any cost.
someone explains how this works then?if GB are his promoters and hayemaker promotions are his company and adam booth is his manager ,were does sauerland come into it .Also how many fights do they have a say in him and is it a case of they have an input on who and when he fights
Sauerland get a percentage from Hayes next 2 fights and got something from the Ruiz fight. If Haye is getting offered less to fight a Klitscko than a standard defence, it makes sense that Sauerland and GBP would advise him to fight someone else. I get the feeling Haye wants the Klitsckos and its the promoters and Booth holding him back.
i kno its not haye holding himself back on fighting klitsckos lets jus say it wont be 1 of them next but after next person its a klit
Don King has an interest as well doesn't he? Also GBP. ps - just as well this wasn't posted on the general.
Trufully I think Booth wants them as much as Haye does. Money is the problem with this fight. It always is.
Money is the problem with this fight. It always is.
Of course money is the problem the Klits want to rinse Haye for as much as they can because they know that a fight with Haye is the only potential fight that can make them good money as it will get onto American TV. Think i'm right in saying one of their last fights wasn't shown live on TV in the US.

It's really ****ed up. Sauerland have a stake and as I understand it Don King has a small stake in Sauerland's stake
Don King was not involved in the Valuev/Haye contract, which is the only contractual agreement Haye has signed with Sauerland. If King has somekind of financial agreement with Sauerland, which he may, as part of Valuev's promotion deal, it does not involve Haye in any direct way.
:good King is not directly involved with Haye correct. That is what the Klit-ites on the General would like us to believe. Haye did not give any options to anyone.
