Who do you think of when you think about a great or at least very good fighter who looked out of shape?

    I think of:

James Toney- at HW he looked pretty bad sometimes

Greg Page, Tony Tubbs, and Tim Witherspoon had less than perfect bodies.

Even at his most fit, Holmes was described as pear shaped and baby chested. Peaking biceps were impressive, but the rest of his physique didn't necessarily measure up.

Michael Spinks was kind of nondescript even after training with Mackie Shilstone, although the musculature of his legs improved noticeably for the rematch with Holmes. Eddie Mustafa Muhammad had a funny body, like one of those bobbing drinking bird toys, but that physique, with the way it centered his gravity, allowed him to slip punches with ease and generate tremendous power behind his shots from both sides.

Cooney was placed on a magazine cover with Stallone, and care had to be taken with the way Gerry was posed because of how his physique suffered in comparison.

Wepner was certainly an Adonis among men, wasn't he?

Frazier and Mathis are good shouts. Leroy Jones was a nightmare in comparison to Buster though. Before his match with Holmes, Jones said he got himself down to 234 for a match, and while he was faster, he claimed he was also weakened.

No amount of training could have made Galento look chiseled. There's footage of him skipping rope very well, and he's in good shape judging by the looks of what he's doing, but he was purely an endomorphic body type.

Scott Le Doux and Duane Bobick never looked good. Even trained down to 207 for Tate, Duane's baby fat was perceptible. Still, imagine a top 6'3" heavyweight at 207 pounds today!

Toney managed to look like **** even while on steroids.

Not joking this time, but I always thought Calzaghe looked pretty unimpressive in his build.
