Pac vs Mayweather advantages/disadvantages

Hey *******... Floyd has been cut before and never ever defeated or folded in recorded history. And to answer your second question.. Floyd would have to fight an old washed up non ranked no title holding fighter at 160 to equal pac's win over odh. Not a young prime champion.

 

That's why I suggested Jermain Taylor. In your opinion, will Floyd take the fight against Jermain now?

 

uhhhh Pac does not have the best tming in boxing...not at all

 

in recent fights, Pac sees these patterns before the fight is even started. Vs Cotto, in the second round he was already timing Cotto's jab - arguably his best punch - with a counter straight left repeatedly. Against Hatton, first round and he was timing Hatton's left hook - his best punch - with a right hook repeatedly.

well in recent fights...

Pacquiao vs Oscar - 59% of power punches landed

Pacquiao vs Hatton - 62% of power punches landed

Pacquiao vs Cotto - 49% of power punches landed

so if timing = accuracy, then you gotta hand it to Pac, his timing is pretty amazing.

Another thing is that like you said Pac throws alot of punches. Floyd picks his shots alot more. So for Pac to have high connect percentages, his timing has to be alot better than Floyd's. If a fighter lets his hands go, its normal that his connect percentages will take a hit. That doesn't mean he has bad timing it just means he can let his hands go without picking his shots if he wants to.

 

lol..no one is saying he doesnt have good timing...its just not bettr than Floyd's....its a reason why he is the best counterpuncher in the game right now...thats GREAT timing...why dont you look at career connect percentage TOTAL punches and you'll see the better timing of the two.

and because he throws a lot of shots means his gives himsef more chances to land as opposed to Floyd who limits his chances of landing and still connects at a higher percentage

.....................Heart - Equal. No fault to find in either guy here.
..............Experience - Equal. Wont make a difference.
....................Reach - Floyd. Duh.
...........Height/Taller - Floyd is taller but how is this an advantage or disadvantage?
Quality of Opponents - Manny. Clearly has more names on there.

.........Corner/Trainer - Floyd. Floyd is trained by two guys who live boxing 24/7.

I have Floyd take most but Manny just has the ability to make a fight

I favor Floyd 8-4 in a tough one

Manny will get to him and look good and win rounds but he is not a complete enough fighter to win

I think a defensive guy beats Floyd personally somebody who can frustrate him with speed and accuracy and ring iq some one who can out think and psyche out floyd

it would be boring as hell but i think the way to beat floyd is a frustrating snoozer

i mean on here we all pulled for brawler like Gatti and Baldy and Judah and Hatton and Moseley but they were not capable of out boxing him
