Depends entirely on the event itself, if it's a show with a decent level of promotion, against another good quality name and with a solid undercard then a good champion can expect to make a million, probably not net though.

You'd be surprised though. Bute made $908,750 against Andrade in the rematch, Devon Alexander apparently made $350k against Urango, sometimes it is hellishly low, I know he isn't a champion but Glen Johnson - as a very solid name - only made $12k against Yusaf Mack (And before anybody says it's FNF, Dan Rafael said the purse would have been the same even if they fought on the undercard of the proposed Mosley v Berto fight)

wlad is making far more than 6mil. i think he will make at least 15 mil, because that was only the purse bid, now he can start to promote the fight, that means all the tv money from russia, germany ukraine and the whole world + the tickets for the stadium. i red somewhere on esb that vitali klitschko made for his last fight agianst sosnowski about 17 mil.
    so thats ****ing much...

the article was right here after the sosnowski fight, it was from a polish magazine, the main part was about that the fight generated 25 mil$, sosnowski got 1mil, then you can count that vitali had to pay about 6 or 7 mil for trainers, sparring partner and general costs.
but right now i have no time for searching, i have to learn, my master exams are coming in fast fashion:?

Pacq's dumb ass signed with Golden Boy and Top Rank on the same day.He gives Arum 27% and Golden Boy 13%,both off of the top.40% gone instantly. Then he has to split 50% with Uncle Sam.Already down to half of half or 1/4 of the original payment,Pacq then has to pay Roach. He may be taking home only 1/5 of the original fight purse.

The very highest guarantee I can find for him is 13 million.Chop that in four and you have 3.25 million.Add in ppv and gate slice, and deduct Roach's hefty pay and Buboy's meals, and I bet Pacquiao has never made more than 10 million off of a fight. Some cash cow.

    Deny those numbers.

In Manny's case cash cow means a cow for Arum27% and Golden Boy13% to eat off of.Then 50% in taxes for the U.S. to send to 3rd world countries anyway.Making 1/4 of your money will always mean you are a sucker.Cash cow is an insult in that situation.

Kessler made 5 mill usd in the Calzaghe fight and makes more than 1 mill usd fighting scrubs in Denmark. Don't know about Mosley, but I'm pretty sure he makes more than a mill a fight. He's a big name. Froch is not maxing in on his earning potential mostly because his promotor can't get him a proper tv deal so I might be inclined to agree with you there. Dawson and Berto I haven't got a clue about what they earn so I won't venture a guess.

Kessler has not fought a fight for under 1 mill in many years. Even in the Perdomo fight he earned more than one mill!

    So no 'maybe' there.
