Eddie Chambers 35-2(if brothers were not around he would have only 1 close loss from Povetkin)
Chris Arreola 28-2(if brothers were not around he would have only 1 close loss from Adamek)

Hard to say, I think Chambers, Povetkin, maybe even Sam Peter if he didnt lose so much determination and discipline before and after the Toney fights. Possibly even Solis Fonte and Chageav as well. Then we have David Haye who would be further along if it wasnt for the fact that the Brothers are around.

 

By the way if Klitschkos were not around noone would give a flying **** about Haye, he became popular just becuase of talking about how he would beat them.

haye fought mormeck was getting beat untill he stopped him , mormeck has never had much heart but either way that win and fairplay to him he done well since he was losing , then he fought enzo maccranelli who flat out sucked !

 

I see so Bell was one of the top three CWs despite not having won a fight in two years, but Mormeck, who had just beaten Bell wasn't. And Adamek was one of the top three CWs on the strength of beating Pineda and Jalusic (No? Me neither..) Meanwhile Cunningham was above Mormeck on the basis that the IBF decided to strip their title from the undisputed lineal champion and Cunningham managed to win it on the second attempt.

This is all revisionist bull****. There was no argument at the time that the two Mormeck v Bell fights represented that best two fighters in the division and that Mormeck was the number one, having won out. Haye then went to Mormeck's backyard and knocked him out. I'm not really sure you've seen that fight, but most observers had it close on the cards when Haye produced the seventh round finish.

Haye had originally said that he would move up to heavyweight after the Mormeck fight. Maccarinelli was a pure money fight - Frank Warren made him an offer he couldn't refuse. Steve Cunningham/Don King it should be noted made no offer at all.

And including Adamek just highlights the revisionism of your argument. I posted in all of the threads of the time and literally no-one was pushing for Adamek as a potential opponent for Haye. Until Adamek beat Bell (after Haye's last CW fight) Adamek was not considered part of the equation at all.
