Why doesn't Haye get the credit he deserves for beating Valuev for a Title?

The most shocking thing about this thread is you listen to the British Press. England barely get out of the worst group and you thaught they where going to walk through Germany. England suck.

He did well to beat Valuev on points in Germany, although by that point a blueprint had been made to beat him by Chagaev and Holyfield and David Haye just had to exploit it.

Haye threw too less punches that fight, that's why people discredit him.
Valuev couldn't hit him with more than 4 punches a round and Haye gave it back to him for everything he landed plus a few hayemakers. He easily won that fight.
He could've knocked him down if he tried to and if he had thrown more punches, people would be content.
Apart from that, Valuev lost a few fights but his opponents got robbed. But that just shows, that Haye won more clearly.

Haye clearly won the fight against Valuev. He was landing the meaningful punches, not many punches but Valuev could barely connect at all. Over all it was an ok performance by Haye, but it was such a boring fight.
Still I won´t give him to much credit cause...

NO, that just shows, that Sauerlader lost an interest in Valuev and swapped on Haye. Have you ever seen any promoter that happy when his boxer gets defeat? Compare his reaction to Abraham/Dirrel fight.

Because Chagaev, Holyfield and Larry Donald did better against Valuev than Haye.

Chag won by out boxing him and staying in the pocket showed guts in doing it

Haye won based on Nikos limitations Niko at 7 ft and 300 plus is clumsy and slow and he is also over 35 and probably winding down

Haye fought the most safetey first fight possible threw like 10 punches a round and would run away from Valuev and the judges saw Haye land like 8 of 10 punches to maybe Niko throw like 30 and and maybe 10 and give it o Haye

The sad part was Haye bragged about this giant KO he was gonna get and he didnt even try in the 12th he staggered him with 1 punch and never really tried to get him out of there aand Valuev pursued and chased and contiued to just throw anything at him but Haye ran and he just couldnt catch him

Valuev tried to make it a fight and Haye didnt

What kind of champion is Haye who does not fight regularly and when he does, he fights over the hill bums. Why does he not step in the ring with either Klitschko or Adamek? If he did and he won, which I don't think he would, his stakes would be much higher. He has to fight more than once a year. He is not a superstar, he is a bum.

Because Holyfield beats Valuev on points too. Nothing special there with Haye. Haye got the decision because now he is the slave from Sauerland and King.

Chagaev schooled Valuev and Wlad schooled Chagaev. So IMO the real WBA Champion is:

    Wladimir Klitschko.
