Has there ever been a bigger ass whooping that had a rematch then pac vs cotto?

Cotto is now a world champ at light-middle. Pac will be aiming for a title in an eighth division and Cotto should perhaps put up a better fight at the new weight with Steward in his corner

You probally order PBF vs Marquez, thats a waste of money . i think cotto has a chance with stewart and he gave 4-5 good rounds in there first fight The new 154 champ defended it against a rival. good chance for a huge win and huge $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for both fighters:happy:happy

I'm not sure is was as one sided and brutal as the Cotto-Pac fight.

 

Thats the way I see it too. Besides, if Cotto stayed on the outside and continued to box, the fight would have been much closer but would probably have the same outcome in the end.

 

cherry picked fight for another catch weight title. I dont give a **** about eight weight title, fight another champ at the 154 pound limit. Somehow pac will get away with this.

 

I understand the reason for Pac going after Cotto again - a 154 belt. That's great, fantastic - congrats for trying to make history. Just don't ask me to pay to watch it - I won't. And I suspect that I won't be the only person who feels that way, when the PPV numbers roll in (assuming this fight ends up happening)

not to dis on Pacquiao's record but he does have a habit of rematching guys he's already beaten at higher weights.. :roll:

 

It was more one-sided and probably as brutal, just not as bloody. The only reason Barrera even won a round was because Pacquiao slipped in the first round and the referee called it a knockdown.

The rematch was much more competitive, and that was still a blowout.

To be fair...Tarver enforced his rematch clause in that second fight...It wasnt Dawson's fault the second fight happened...Either fight or give up the titles.

 

Exactly at least Cotto won the first round cleanly and was competitive in a few others.
