Tyson vs. Tua Prime for Prime who wins?!

Hmm, one was undisputed world champion, and one never won a belt. Is this a bit of an insult to Mike? I think so.

 

Tyson, in a brawl that goes the distance. Iron Mike wins it by a score of 8 rounds to 4.

The most interesting thing would've been seeing who would have ended up most exhausted by the championship rounds. Would Tyson's precision powerpunching wear Tua down? Or would Tua's superior strength and power finally get to Tyson in the later rounds?

One of the best heavyweight fights that could have ever been made IMO.

 

I think Tua's corner would throw in the towel around the 7th-8th round.

BTW, Rahman knocked Tua down.

 

Tyson would win, hes got the better DEFENSE (well in his prime anyway)
In his prime he would NOT get involved in a war, i believe he would power box tua and knock him out late or win a wide UD

 

Tyson would be too busy for Tua, who would lose a wide UD.

 

lets see. tyson...undisputed champion.....10 world heavyweight title fights by the time he is 23. regains title 2 more heavyweight belts after prison stint. over 15 heavyweight world title fights. won the WBC belt 2 times, WBA belt 2 times and the IBF belt 1 time.
tuas claim to fame.....knocking out john ruiz in 1, rahman after get outboxed , and losing to ibeabuchi and not winning more than a round or 2 vs lewis in his only title fight....

A question that's probably been asked many times before, but why didn't these two ever cross paths? Granted Tua was never on Tyson's level skill wise, but considering the freakish KO power and hype he generated, I'm surprised this match-up was never discussed or pushed.

A Tyson vs Tua, would have been World War 3! Can't see either of them backing down.

 

Tyson by ass whuppin. The speed and skill gap between them was HUGE. And anybody thinking that Mike couldnt hurt or stop Tua is mistaken.

 

You must be a newbie to the sport. Razor Ruddock hit harder then Tua, hit Tyson with his best shots all night, and Mike never budged. Prime Tyson had an EXCELLENT chin, and could handle Tua's overrated hook. The real question is.. could Tua handle Mike's combinations all night long? My guess is no.

Tua still knocked some future champion out (Rahman, Ruiz, Maskaev). Not great but good stuff.

Don't act like Tyson knocked a lot of ATGs...

I see this as one of the most entertaining HW fight of all time.

Who wins? No ****ing clue.
