    Basically, Richard Branson is buying massive stakes in 3 big promotional companies. His initiative for Saturday nights (in conjunction with Sky, who will 'go dutch' with Branson on all promotions) was recently revealed and Jeff has been enlistened to work out the battle plan for Fridays.

    Big boxing fan is Branson, who is apparently 'tired of seeing prospects fight Afrobums and fat Latvians' and has taken it upon himself to exert more influence onto the sport by semi-monopolising the domestic scene.. He's still seething after Russian Cosmonauts pulled the plug on the Satelleite built to support 'Vrirgin Sport', his recently mooted free-to-view sports channel.
