I'd hardly be proud of winning an Irish title when I was born in England mate. IMO if you fight for the Irish title you should automatically be ineligible for the British, and vice versa. I've got Irish ancestory too, but it doesn't mean I consider myself Irish.
Pot meet kettle. You continually include Irish fighters in your British world ranked boxers thread simply because they qualify to fight for British titles. Everyone on SBW's list, including Gavin, have Irish ancestry and qualify to fight for the Irish title, and what do you mean we can have guys from Northern Ireland?! Of course we can, they're Irish ffs.

each to there own and fair enough I accept your position. But not all 2nd and 3rd generation Irish in Britain feel like you - many are very proud of their Irish roots or consider themselve primarily Irish. That should be respected but often isnt by the BNP squaddie types on here.
