    Klitschko-Haye offer details
    By Karl Freitag
The David Haye camp has stated that Haye does want to fight Wladimir, but they cannot accept certain “financial details.” What are those details? “The offer was 50%/50%, no options,” Wladimir Klitschko advisor Shelly Finkel confirmed to Fightnews.com. Finkel added that he hasn’t heard from David Haye’s manager Adam Booth in three weeks after initially speaking to him half-a-dozen times.
It seems the main hang-up was that the Haye camp wanted to keep 100% of the UK TV revenue and give Wladimir 100% of the German TV revenue. The Klitschko Camp wanted to put all the TV money in one pot and split it 50/50%, which they consider more than fair since Wladimir would be risking three belts to Haye’s one, and Wlad is widely considered to be the world’s true heavyweight champion.
Wladimir will now defend his belts against Alexander Povetkin on September 11 in Frankfurt, Germany, while Haye is expected to face Audley Harrison in an all-British affair in November.

Booth doesnt even answer them for 3 weeks? Team haye (Booth) should be embarrassed with all this:oops::oops:

50-50 cant get more fair then that

I never said Haye was "Ducking"...But I am begining to wonder now

So basically the UK TV money was the stopper? Why is this, considering how massive the Klitschkos are supposed to be in Germany?

Could it be that they aren't as popular as certain people are trying to make out, hence the UK TV demands? Let's have some balance here....Haye is a UK fighter and wanted the money from his own people and told WALDO he could keep the money from his own people....to me that sounds fair but WALDO rejected it. Why? I guess it's not just HBO that think the Klits are boring ****s then, even the Germans won't spend their hard earned money on watching them :yep

Or the Brits are stupid enough to pay more because they fall for Haye's bluster? :think 4 belts to one. 75/25 sounds fair to me. :deal

haye is pathetic. the fact that he talked so much **** and pussed out so blatantly makes him one of the most worthless, waste of space fighters in history. he doesn't even deserve the pay day he'd get for getting ktfo by one of the klitschkos.

I'm not certain, but I believe that Wladimir is always free to air TV in Germany, while Haye is or has been PPV in the UK. If this is the case, that would put the money from TV, probably in Haye's advantage, due to the PPV factor. Again, I don't know if that's how it was going to be, just speculating.

Besides, Wlad has 3 belts and is widely regarded as THE CHAMP, he offered Haye 50/50 ACROSS THE BOARD, NO OPTIONS. Haye turned it down. Those are the FACTS.

what does this prove exactly, all it says is someone in the Klitschko camp claimed something was offered and the Haye Camp can still come out and dispute it.

You might be right on that one, I'm not disputing it but that's not my point.

My point is that it seems the whole thing fell apart because Haye wanted all the UK TV money and was willing to give WALDO all the German TV money, WALDO wouldn't accept that as stated in the article. Now why is that? Considering he's supposedly the undisputed champion he should have been laughing all the way to the bank with that stipulation, yet he balked on it because he wanted the TV money to be 50/50 across the board. Now why would he demand that? Because he knows that the fight will sell far better in the UK than in Germany is the only conclusion I can come to.

If I were the Klits I wouldn't even acknowledge him anymore. I understand it would be a "good fight" on paper, but the dude is obviously more concerned with theatrics and lip service than fighting. The best thing they can do is ignore him and move on about their business, OR make a public offer that is released to every major media outlet world wide and make it a take it or leave it scenario but if "left" it would be left permanantly.

Or perhaps as I said above, Germany = free TV, UK = PPV

No that's not a fact, Haye was saying "OK then I'll take the money my fans pay to watch the fight, and you can take the money your fans pay to watch the fight" which seems fair enough to any right minded individual. WALDO didn't like that though and refused.

I ask again, if WALDO is as popular in Germany as everyone says he is, why didn't he just say yes and put it on PPV in Germany and collect 100% of the proceeds as was offered?

Belts don't determine purse splits in a fight of this magnitude. They should both keep something 70% of their respective domestic T.V revenue.

Or could it be that he is making a huge concession giving the man 50/50 to begin with and as opposed to Haye getting the concession in purse and dictating the demands in terms of TV revenue, that Wlad would expect him to take a MORE than fair split and STFU.

PERIOD. what happened to the guy calling them out and would knock them both out in 1 night? dude has ZERO credibility
he, his family and his fans should be ashamed and embarrassed
