Katsidis is fairly articulate and has a good degree of charm and wit as far as boxers go.

Its a shame he dont get that much credit in this country. Green gets it all and fights no 1.
Kat should start calling out Mundine. The media might give the guy a little more credit.

Kats is the true legend of Aussie boxing.
I have had nothing but respect for the guy since the first time I seen him fight to the fiest interview I seen of him.
he is just an all round good guy who leaves nothing in the ring except the blood on the canvas.

he wanted a fight in Australia on July 31 but the WBO said no because they wanted him to fight the the JMM-Diaz winner.
    http://www.talentbrothers.com.au/tag/wbo/
Golden Boy are pushing for the JMM-Diaz winner to fight Amir Khan which means they would stripped of the lightweight belt and Kats will fight someone for the full belt.hopefully for you and your mate its in Oz.

It was only 8 months ago Danny Green managed to get RJJ to travel for the first time in his career outside of the USA and come to Australia in what was one of Australia's biggest boxing event for a long time.
When was the last time Kat brought a fighter of that magnatude to Australian shores?
When Mick can do something like that he'll get the attention of the Australian media.
Fact of the matter is that lawn bowls gets more coverage than boxing in Australia so if you want to get noticed you really have to work on your media profile otherwise it doesn't matter how many belts you win because boxing is like poison ivy in this Country.
So if your waiting for mainstream media to start lauding Mick for his efforts i wouldn't hold your breathe i mean look at a guy like Robbie Pedan who even after beating Nate twice for the world title hardly got a mention in the papers.
So theres no point bagging Danny because he gets a bit of press :nono

Its interesting that Khan wants to fight the JMM-Diaz winner.

Hopefully Khan doesnt get to put any legends on his resume,
he doesnt deserve it IMO, if he wants to get a name, fight Katsidis,
    Bradley, Alexander.

Im getting sick of these upstarts thinking they have already make it
to the top, when in reality they have beaten no prime fighters and refuse
    to fight one.

Whereas blokes like Katsidis dont get their dues, when they will fight
anyone, anywhere, anytime. Old school throw backs.
