I think the point of the Carwin vid was to show how bad his boxing is, we didn't need the best P4P boxer to prove that. I don't like either guys striking as for what someone up higher said they are just big guys with heavy hands.

Being that slow with no stamina at all says something about the level of opposition Carwin faced in the UFC so far... no wonder some boxers are ridiculing MMA...

    Let those boxers try it.

Hard to outbox somebody when your lying on your back getting your knee shattered beyond repair, or eating knees from the clinch, or going to sleep in a choke, or getting your legs kicked to the point of serious injury.

If you or anybody else thinks MMA is worth ridiculing, give it a go, you will learn quickly.

I'm basing it on Carwin would beat the ever loving **** out of Rogers in a fight, is there anything else to base who a better MMA fighter is?

Carwin would ****ing murder Rogers, who is a jobber who happened to land a punch on the chinless Arlovski.

Carwin has an actual skillset to go with his huge power, what exactly can Rogers do besides throw haymakers?

Ok lets try again. Explain WHY and try not to be such a joyboy about it. Carwin would murder Rogers based on WHAT? Rogers landed a lucky punch on AA? Carwin has an actual skillset? WHERE? Actually dont bother to respond.

What do you think the Vegas line on that fight would be?

You are being an idiot if you don't think Carwin is a much better fighter.

He has a skillset out side of throwing haymakers, a great wrestling pedigree. He trains with a real camp, he has consistently beaten better fighters, he has never looked like the joke Rogers was in his last fight.

So, what would the betting line be?

I'm surprised Scurla that you don't think Carwin is a better fighter just because he has better "musculature" and whatnot.

Rogers is coming off of two losses in a row as opposed to 1 loss. Rogers' only two names that he beat were Thompson and Arlovski and both of those guys are just BEGGING to get KTFO in every fight.

Get a clue. Those two losses were against the best heavy in the world Fedor and Overeem a top 10 heavyweight.

Now what were these huge names that Carwin beat? Mir? Gonzaga? And a bunch of flotsam. Is that any different to Rogers? No. And that guy AA just happened to be the UFC heavyweight champ once who was raking in more money at the cash register once than Brock Lesnar. Try again stupid.

Consistently beaten better fighters? WTF are you talking about? He's fought two names. Mir and Gonzaga and thats it. Gonzaga nearly toasted his ass and he manhandled Mir. Other than that he's feasted on guys that shouldnt have been anywhere near a ring. Neil Wain ringing any bells? Nah i didnt think so.

And When was the last time you saw Carwins GREAT "wrastling" skills? Oh wait a minute..

Seriously your either incredibly stupid or just goading a debate on semantics because your bored. Rogers looked like a joke because Overeem had something to do with it. Thats what happens when you put a bonafide striker and veteran in with a relative MMA rookie. The exact same thing would happen to Carwin if he had fought Overeem.

Additionally if thats your coup de grace to explain the difference between Carwin and Rogers bearing in mind Carwin hasnt fought a striker even remotely close to the calibre of Overeem then your an idiot and i suggest you take your troll posts to Sherdog.

Overeem didn't just outstrike Roger's he tossed him like a ragdoll. He stands no chance of doing that to Carwin.

Again, simple question, what do you think the line would be on the fight? Who would you bet on?

And WHY does he stand no chance of doing that to Carwin? Because Carwins takedown skills are that great? Because Carwins ground game is that good? Because Carwins striking is better? No no and no.

As for the odds ask an odds maker im not a bookie. And my house would be on Overeem by fatality.

Yes, because Carwins wrestling skills are that much better. Do you think Rogers has anything approaching Carwins wrestling or grappling? Really?

Your bet on Carwin vs Rogers would be on Overeem...sounds about right.

You've talked yourself into a corner and are now too stubborn to admit you know damn well that Carwin is a better fighter than Rogers.
