    On 16/7/10 in Bolton UK 30yr old Peter Metrevski Jr 23-6-1 meets 27yr old Martin Murray 19-0-0 for the vacant Commonwealth Middleweight title over 12 rds on the Matthew Hatton V Yuriy Nuzhnenko undercard.

    Murray had an amateur career spanning 14yrs but hasn't really stepped it up yet in the pros. Metrevski stepped up in 2006 losing to Sebastian Sylvester by TKO 8.
    Should be an entertaining fight. I'm tipping Murray in this one.

    Depending on how much power Murray has he could very well stop Mitrevski....if not then on wide points.

    First Mitrevski needs to settle things with Junmar Dulog in a Marquez/Vazquez-like quadrilogy. There is unfinished business there that must be settled before "The Esky" can look to other pastures....

    Looking at Murrays record, he's not been the full 12 rounds before. Maybe the 'eski' will come home with the goods.

    This doesn't look too bad now..

    I'll empty my own esky waiting for the decision..

    Murray is a former ABA champion and will prove to be more than a formidable test for Peter. Murray is one of the best prospects to come out of Britian, in 2008 he won the forth series of the Prizefighter tournament shown live on sky.

    Props to Peter for taking this fight, imo its a fight he can not win given his current calibure of easy beat opponents, not a good diet to be on going in against Murray.

    BoxRec shows Dulog weighed in at 155 3/4 for the Metrevski fight.
    He must have had lead weights in his groin guard.
    Surprisingly Cyril Cairns had Dulog 1 point ahead before the stoppage on a cut.
    Fighting a lightweight was not exactly the best preparation for Metrevski's title shot.
    Dulog's handlers should hang their heads for allowing this fight to happen. Queensland officials should explain themselves and share the blame.
    Five weeks ago Dulog weighed in at 133 for a lightweight bout.
