Tua gets him early in the fight. Both are huge punchers but one has a granite chin (Tuaman) and the other has suffered several knockouts (Shavers). I don't think Shavers' chin was bad but there is no doubt that Tua's is made on concrete.

    Tua KO 3

    Exactly right.

Shaver was stopped by Quarry in 1, stopped by Lyle, stopped by Holmes, and as I learned on this very forum, Candy Slim Merrit broke his jaw in sparring. Those were some good punchers, but you can count the moments when Tua even looked fazed on one hand...the Rahmen slip/knockdown, maybe the odd punch in the Ibeabucci or Lewis fight.

I think Tua would catch Earnie early like Quarry did only with even heavier artillery and ko him in 1.

And after this fight, Shavers fires his manager.

Shavers would be a moron to take this fight. Just a terrible matchup for him, although anything can happen when Shavers lands flush.

Nothing favors Earnie in this one. Tua only looked vulnerable as an immature amateur against Savon. Even if Shavers is the harder puncher, there's no questioning who has the better chin or stamina. The only hope Earnie would have is to turn boxer behind his 80" jab, as he did in Henry Clark I, but Tua is worlds above Clark.

I would predict a double knockout or a Tua win via knockout. But double knockout would be so damn cool.

David And Earnie wouldnt be fighting for long

    Tua by KO,
he could possibly take Shavers bombs for 12 rounds....but could Shavers take his?

Tua.. Tua can take Shaver's best shot but Shavers can't take tua's left hook. Probably in the very early rounds. Possibly a first round knockout since Quarry did it.
