This is a fight where Woodhouse will prove all that amateur experience Gavin has means not much these days. Woodhouse points. But I doubt Warren will allow it.
I think Woodhouse (who I like) will give it a good go for the first couple and come out quickly, but Gavin just won't be there for him to hit and after the first couple I think Frankie will dominate to a wide UD or late stoppage.
Ultimately it's the first fight for Frankie where someone's going to turn up and not roll over for him, so the fight gets a thumbs up for me! I think Gavin takes a UD, but Curtis will work him the whole way.
I can't wait for you to be shown up as the biggest **** talking **** on ESB twice here. The fight is going ahead and Gaving walks it after Woodhouse has a go for a round or two
:deal This idiot needs i.p banning, if he isnt slandering amir khan, then he is typing bull**** on the forum. Gavin will put on a lesson just you wait and see, now leave you ****ing turd!
The transition Woodhouse shows between attack and defence is really slow at times, i feel he'll be too predictable for Gavin.
I love how people are assuming Gavin will just hammer Woodhouse inside the distance because he is one of the highly touted prospects. Bearing in mind Curtis beat a far better fighter last time out than Gavin has been in with to date...... Perhaps this will be the first time we see the real Frankie Gavin, countering and moving rather than having to pressure someone that doesn't really want to be there. Gavin on points, close-ish up until the second half of the fight before he pulls away, 98-93 or something like. Woodhouse will have a real go, unlike most of Gavin's opponents so far. Good match to make :good
I think Gavin is class, sure this is his first real test, but if he's half as good as we think he is he should win this quite comfortably after possibly some early trouble.
If Gavin doesn't get rid of Woodhouse in the early rounds it will become a very very very tough night. This could even be simular to Khan vs Limmond.
Not a chance. Gavin has a far better defence than Khan, his chin hasn't been constructed with the most delicate China either :deal
