So you don't think it will be the hardest fight of Gavin's pro career so far?

He even admitted himself that he felt a bit let down with the opponent on the Mitchell bill - something you confirmed :yep - so he might come out all guns blazing :think

Like I say, I expect Gavin to win and win well, better taking this route than some more journeymen. If he does win he ought to get the winner of this week's FFN for the British.

    No point ****ing about :deal

Oh no mate, by all means I think it will be his hardest test but I expect Gavin to impress you all more than he has done previous to this :good

Woodhouse can bang and is a tough man. Naturally bigger than Gavin. Woodhouse will make it a very rough fight and its not difficult to draw Gavin into a fight rather than a boxing match.

yeh i also see it as unlikley just don't see what Gavin has shown you to make this be an easy fight. He is clearly a good boxer but lacks power. Some of his stoppages have been extremly dodgey I dont recall him actually dropping anyone.

Plus your sleeping on Woodhouse he can take a punch and dish it out. This is his world title fight and he is going to be up for it. He is very very fit and we know he can go 9-10 rounds and still do damage.

For me the fight goes two ways:

Gavin completly takes Woodhouse apart in 2-3 rounds and stops him. Could again be dubious.

    or

Woodhouse gets through the first few and theres allot of worrying moments around round 6,7,8. Gavin can be dragged into a war which suits Woodhouse who is a tough man. Gavin could also get a cut which seems to happen allot. Gavin gets back to his boxing and gets a points win which could also be dubious.

We will learn allot about Gavin in this fight. You can have all the skills in the world but does he have the heart? We know Woodhouse has got it.

Plus Woodhouse has Dave Coldwell in his corner. They will have a strategy for Woodhouse.

gavin wins easy he is levels above woodhouse

late stoppage , gavin has more power then people give him credit for he has dropped a good few of his opponents and had peter mcdonagh hurt on a few occasions with body shots , and mcdonagh rarely gets hurt

the other thing as well, in previous fights Gavin looks like he can be prone to cuts which may also make things interesting.

Think it was against McDonagh where he began to get frustrated because he couldn't KO him and McDonagh began to give him a bit of verbals.

maybe temperament could be an issue as well. I can't see how people think this will be an easy fight for Gavin, Woodhouse impressed me last week and Gavin has not been in with anyone of note.

That is purely a hunch and based on no demonstrable evidence at all...Gavin hasn't been in with anyone yet who has allowed us to see what level he actually is at, so your statement is a bit of a reach. Looking good against blokes who are fresh off the plane from Latvia who just want to lay down and go to sleep is one thing, taking on a live and committed opponent is another.

Starting to sound like a fan boy now Dan
