How can you say Haye doesn't deserve 50% when he brings more than 50% to the table?

The purse should be split 50/50, the TV should be split 75/25 to each fighters home country. No way can Wlad ask for 50% of the money Sky will pay.

Of course not. Wlad should want 50/50 and I support him with that. What I don't support, is him asking for 50% of the money coming from the UK! Nobody here knows him. He has no right to that, just like Haye doesn't to the German TV money.

I've never said anything about Haye rejecting a fight based on money. I just won't do that. I did defend him choosing to fight Valuev over Vitali because it made financial sense, but I'm not going to support him if he rejects good deals.

I just don't think this is a good deal for him, so I understand him not saying yes. I'm also playing Devils Advocate because my main point here, is that if Wlad wants this so bad, he'd accept the offer on the table. 50/50, except the TV deals.

100% is not fair.

I think most fans want to just see Haye here. He's the draw but it has to be fair. It takes two to tango and Wlad deserves 25% of the TV money, even if he doesn't bring 25%. He's still the heavyweight champion of the world and it's a massive fight because of his stature, not just Haye's.

 

What has Haye done to even register on the level of Wlad?? Wlad has been dominating the HW division for years now, with Haye waiting in the wings to bank off a little charisma and some good speed for HW.

He has not cleaned up the division. Wlad did. Wlad is the draw because Wlad will still sell out a stadium in Germany vs povetkin while Haye might get some good media coverage in the UK for a fight with Audley Harriwhoever.
