MMA legend Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira gets his long-awaited rematch with Frank Mir in the main event of UFC 119, MMA Fighting has learned. UFC President Dana White has confirmed the matchup to MMA Fighting. He also confirmed a light-heavyweight bout pitting Antonio Rogerio Nogueira vs. Ryan Bader in the co-main event. -via Bloody Elbow
Dont enjoy watching any of the four fighters in the main events, so its a dissapointment for me. Really wanted to see Rampage fight either Nog for a knock out of the night.
If Mir losses this his recent record will look a bit **** really and I'm a Mir fan. I want to see Nog get his rematch but a loss either way will set both fighters back a fair bit which isn't good if you like both :verysad Lil Nog vs Bader is a good fight. Bader has been looking very good of late. While Lil Nog had a close fight with Brilz he definitely will need to bring a better game to this fight.

After seeing how Cain handled Nogueira I cant see this rematch going to much differently then the first. The fight was terribly one sided but you wanted to see a rematch because we have Nogueira's staph infection excuse well judging by the looks of him now I dont care how healthy he is when its gone its gone. Big test for Bader fighting Rogerio should be interesting. Dunham vs Sherk is a good fight to not a bad card but not really to exicted.
I'm resigned to this card, rather than looking forward to it. Obviously as the Nog brothers are intent on continuing, they have to get big fights, but I now feel trepidation where once I used to feel excitement. I see both getting beaten pretty badly here by younger, fresher guys. Nothing has changed since Mir-Nog 1, Nog is still shot and Mir is still Mir, one of the best heavyweights out there. I had high hopes for L'il Nog in the UFC, but he looked **** against Brilz. I don't think Bader has what it takes to be a threat to the Ruas and the Machidas, but I think he'll be too strong, too busy and too hungry in this one. I'm not anticipating this event with any pleasure, as I can see two of my old favourites getting beaten down.
