    Whomever say "what's the first" either isn't thinking or doesn't know much about boxing...

    douglas' win over tyson, all things considered, may not be as impressive but i think it rates as a bigger upset. NO ONE saw that **** coming, at least schmeling was an ex-champion with pedigree

    good call. not as big but definitely worth a mention, same as sanchez' win over gomez

    spinks over ali was pretty startling

    Nestalgia is great but I don't always by into it. Luis was young and wasn't even champ yet. Tyson was a wrecking machine but like in the build-up to the Lewis Rahman I fight there were plenty of signs that he wasn't taking the fight seriously. It depends on how you define an upset, when someone who is not supposed to win does or when someone who is not expected to win does? IMO if you favour the later definition you'd have to rate Luis-Schmelling below the tyson douglas.
