There's been barely a whimper of defence at ESB for the sub-standard card team Mundine put together at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre recently.

Poor main event (against #85 ranked Argie), disgraceful main support (SBW v a freak), poor undercard etc, etc.

Couple this most recent debacle with the absolutely ridiculous after-fight comedy skit with Ryan Waters, and what looms as another waste of time match-up with the same guy, plus the careful avoidance of the likes of Golovkin etc, and little wonder the Mundine circus appears to have run it's race at ESB.

The night of the 30th June 2010 may well be remembered as the staw that finally broke the camel's back.

In all seriousness Sox, judging by the deafening silence, the circus has already left town.

I think ur wrong. Mundine could b 50yo he could tell the aussie public that he is the best boxer of all time and people will still run down the pub 2 watch.
Hate 2 say it but there r alot of dumb people here. Mundine just cashers in on them.
Mayb if i got the cash he gets i would 2.

Agreed Brocky, but those people you refer to have been almost totally silent since June 30 - not the slightest whimper.

Can't see an upcoming Waters 'blockbuster' reigniting any passion either mate.

Let us not forget the dumbest sack of **** to ever grace this forum - nobrains. What a moronic mother****er that child is! I hear he is back in the slammer so we may not be the beneficiaries of his pearls of wisdom and wit for sometime. Damn shame! I really miss that pea brained turdlet! Hopefully the time inside will allow the ****** an opportunity to sort out his **** warts issues and get to the bottom of who his old man really is!

The wounds are so far taking a lot longer to heal than previous farces.

A Waters bout certainly won't have people dancing in the streets either, particularly after the corny ring announcement the other night.

Imagine trying to talk-up a Waters grudge-match after that embarrassing charade!

No doubt it'll be totted out again to remind people too!

Interesting article in the Telegraph about the Top 10 most hated Aussie sports people, the number 1 was Jana Rawlinson closely followed by Anthony Mundine, heres there comment about Mundine and I think they nailed him in one.!!!
    Number 2 Anthony Mundine
He's probably the most successful athlete in Australian sport never to attract a sponsor of note. Why? Well, where do you start.
His comments that Americans got what they deserved in the days after September 11?
Or his disgusting recent description of Aboriginal legends Arthur Beetson, Gorden Tallis and Ricky Walford as "coconuts"?
Or just the fact he'll never be remembered as a truly great boxer because he keeps fighting stiffs and his management team has changed boxing nights from a sweet science into a circus.

As you can see already some of the press are finally waking up to His smoke nad Mirrors Bull Sh*t.!!!!

Just like any circus, they will spruke it anyway they can. Like the kid with no teeth yelling out "roll up roll up". He's a misfit deviant but he still has a spot on the team.

Mundine's circus act is the same. They don't care what it looks like, as long as people pay.

hahaha Drama Rawlinson, I'd forgotten about her, what a ***** she is.

If she does represent England at the next Olympics she'll have sealed her own fate and Australia will disown her.

id say they have learned a lesson. lets not forget the freight train of money and publicity the nasser/mundine show has been (has been?).

no, i think he will fight someone fair dinkum this year. hes got to. he dont need the money or the hiding,....he gets both outside the ring, but i believe, that he believes, that he has a great victory in his life, and it is in his future.

he may be wrong. he may have already had his victory, and pride will prove his downfall. (pride before a fall..)

makes no nevermind to me.......i'll read about it the next day......
