was it definitely a health thing?

It would be really unusual to do it for health reasons if approved by independant medical officers.

If it is for a mismatch that is completely different.

yeah kruger it seems like the authority would licence Paul to fight but wouldn't sanction the green fight but would another, so i guess the medical part means **** it is there opinion that a Green briggs fight was;t a good move

+ no evidence of any neurological damage - more a case of an emotional breakdown.

Has Kat been retired for 3 yrs due to health problems Wayne ? I can get a doctor that will give me a pass to walk on the moon it doesnt mean i am in physical shape to do so and the experts at NASA would have the final say! LOL

As for the blood comment i guess you only watch Katsidis or something? assuming you missed the Vea commonwealth title shot because there was more blood in that fight than ive seen in a long time and it wasnt stoped.

Let me take you on a ride, we are going BACK TO THE FUTURE!

    2007
"Briggs injured his ankle one day before the bout, and fought what he called the worst performance of his career. He was to continue fighting but when back in training, starting having serious problems.

. Briggs was thought to have gotten past his problems, and relocated back to the Gold Coast where he began working with a new trainer. He also revealed he was moving down to the

    division and challenged fellow Australian

to a fight. A couple of weeks into training however Briggs again had problems, and on the advice of his new trainer, retired from the sport. Briggs is currently located on the Gold Coast, and frequently commentates boxing matches on Fox Sports and Mainevent."

    From Pauls Trainer in 2007

2010 after being denied NSW boxing licence.

“The reason why I retired were personal issues that were going on in my life at the time.” - Paul Briggs.

I had alot of respect for Paul until today, cant respect this rot!
At the end of the day Green is doing what he always said he would do when he announced his retirment.

Well his playing it safe alright and he is also playing the public like fools! Im glad NSW have put a stop to this rot!
