Heavyweight champion in 2016? One or more of these guy is likely.

    Never heard of Austin. He sounds like one to watch. The best American hope might be a 21 year old kid, named Trevor Bryan. He is 6'6", and has a real shot to represent the USA in the 2012 Olympics.

    I dont really care about who will be champion in 2016. The current champion is boring. And so are most of the contenders. Incredibly boring, clones with unattractive styles. The amateur heavyweight boxing I see at international level is not exciting.
    Unless I see with my own eyes someone with a difference, and excitement, it really isn't interesting to me.
    I'm not enough of a trainspotter to care. Boxing should be more than that.

    Gunnar Austin is a good kid who is fun to watch. Fights like a beast! He may not end up as a heavyweight. He's borderline. Might end up a cruiser if he turns pro.
