Is Mosely still claiming he didn't know what he did? What was his punishment. Not defending Marg here at all......

And this is the first I've heard Marg admit that the pads were out of the ordinary and would have done harm to Mosely, so he did at least go that far.

It has been posted numerous times that in Nevada you are given a sealed bag with everything that is allowed on your hands and a commission rep watches. I'd be interested to know if they say what their evidence is..... California still just trying to cover their asses for blowing it?

Freddy-wak says he has personally seen guys soaking their hand wraps before a fight in California.

Ever since the incident Ive thought he did the same in the Cotto fight but now there is heresay about there being evidence? **** him if this is found to be true. Guy shouldnt be allowed to fight anywhere. Than again, even if they found that he's been cheating for years, some people around here would still find ways to justify it. Pathetic really.

IMO Mosley should have handed some type of punishment...That I can agree, but lets not forget that he passed lie detector test proven he didnt know it was a banned substance.

Now Margorito on the other hand, he and\or his tried to gain an advantage in a horrible way...I know cheating is cheating but you have to evaluate the intenet of the situation...Steriods is cheating but it doesnt always gives you the lead way to ensure victory! (Vargas\De La Hoya as an example) Loading your gloves is taking this too far IMHO! You're going into a fight with loading gloves only equate to one thing IMO...Knocking the other guy out and causing him some horrible damamge...Boxing is already a brutal sport without the extra help of PED's or having foreing objects in your gloves...I always try to look at this situation like this...Would a murderer get the same type of punishment as a petty shoplifter??? Both are crimes but one is more harsh than the other...Get my point???

~ Would a car thieft get the same amount of time as a person who just killed another human being???~

Me personally, I find it very hard to believe he didnt know what was being placed in his gloves...Maybe I'm wrong but I just dont see it that happening...Most fighters I've seen getting their hands wrapped usually pay attention the guy wrapping the hands.

If Margorito would at least acknowledge what he's done and try to sway the fans that he was wrong for what he's done, then maybe people like me (who hates cheats in the sport) will lighten up and hear him out...We're not perfect by any means but there is a time when you have to own up to your mistakes in which he's clearly not doing IMO...Yes he's served his 1 year suspension, but he needs to admit what he's done instead of shifting blame...Nobody didnt force him to load his gloves...It was a chance he took and he got caught.

The polygraph is ****. NO basis in science at all. Mosely ****ed up Margo pretty good. Who is to say the steriods didn't give him that edge?

I feel the reverse about Marg after today. He admitted up front that had he used the pads he could have ****ed up Mosely. I now believe he had to know and should be banned for life. Gone is any question about whether they were just previously used pads that were randomly pulled out of the bag as opposed to new as the rules required. That had been the defense all along. He backed up Richardson's assertion that they were weapons. In my opinion, he sealed his own fate when he answered that question the way he did. Let him drive cabs for a living.

I hope Tony's law suit is successful, and CSAC has to pay him for lost income, and everyone of those imbecilic ****-wits loses his job, and receives a life time ban from all professional sports. Only a complete moron would think it unusual to find traces of phosporous and zinc in used knuckle pads.

Yeah, the polygraph doesnt really do **** in that matter.

Now you understand why I dont want to see him fight again...I dont want him gaining a dime from me after what he's done...If he would have killed Mosley or scarred him for life then he would really understand the seriousness of his horrific act!

Let him drive cabs and let him get punched in the face with something hard like rocks or something!:yep

Gotcha...so it were the old knucklepads with traces of phosphorous and zinc that Margo claims in the transcript that would have done Mosley harm. All makes sense now, dirty ass commissions.

    Dan Rafael (2:04 PM)

A commissioner just asked what could have happened to Shane had they not discovered those wraps.

    (2:05 PM)

His answer -- "It would have been harm to Shane Mosley. It would have put him in danger. If I had known there is no way I would have gone out there."

I thought this was perhaps all over blown until I read this. Now, I've picked a side.

Freddy-wak is the most biased poster on this board. He'll say anything to defend Margo, so its kind of hard to believe anything he says.

It makes perfect sense. You don't divide and conquer commissions and play them against each other. If that was the case promoters would just fight in the commission that let them get away with the most BS giving all the tax revenue to their respective state. That is what is happening now on many issues, but one as high profile as this it makes total sense what they did.

I hope Margarito is able to get this crap cleared up... Just not in time to be a substitute for November!

Margo is getting ****ed over pretty bad here. The Cali commission seems to have an ax to grind and there is no higher body to which he can appeal. Their objectivity on the matter is already tainted. Nevada should have been able to make an objective ruling on the matter.

Seems bizarre to me. They should be required to make a decision on the merits. Isn't that their purpose in life? Seriously?
