Wlad isn't the draw on PPV. That's the key thing. Nobody knows who he is over here and a Harrison or Adamek PPV would sell more. Which then begs the question: Why doesn't Wlad follow through with his words? Why doesn't he want to lose a bit of money and knock Haye the **** out? There's NO justification for any fans to accuse the other of ducking. This is about pure greed from both men. Honestly, I think Wlad should get 25%, though he doesn't deserve it. If he and Haye refuse to budge, they are both equally at fault.
Again. It isn't really about the one issue. Booth has admitted to being a liar. It was about finding a way out of the fight.
Haye drew close to a million against Valuev, somebody no British fan had heard of. He drew those all by himself and, honestly, Wlad isn't a much bigger draw. The sad fact is, a Haye/Harrison PPV would sell more, as would Haye/Adamek because of the large Polish population. There isn't as many Wlad fans, as Adamek fans or, dare I say it, Harrison fans.
Keep laughing. You can't disprove any of that. I'm not sure which side of you is worse. Pavlik fan or Wlad fan. You should look back at my analysis for Pavlik/Martinez and the discussions before that, and then yours. You were just as condescending then and I schooled you over and over again. I was proved right. You looked like a clown. You're just ridiculous at this point. Stick to saying "...but...but...but C-C-CHEF said...". How aren't they both equally at fault, when neither will budge 25%? And can you name me a single British PPV, where the money wasn't given mostly to the British fighter?
Yawn..... But CHEF was right. Booth admitted he is a liar. Your defense changes tactics daily. You keep claiming you schooled me. Keep telling yourself that enough and you will believe it. THIS issue was a slam dunk though. Only a fool can't see it. :yep Keep trying the misdirection if you must.......
Wake up. Haye - Harrison will do 1 million PPV buys, I suppose that's down to Harrison?:rofl You have Haye fans who will pay to see Haye vs anybody, and Haye fans who'll pay to see him vs Wlad. Tell you what try Wlad vs Povetkin on PPV in the UK and see how that does
As I said if Wlad Povetkin was PPV in the UK it wouldn't do 50k. Hell if Khan couldn't draw 50k why on earth would people think Wlads a draw over here? Anyways doesn't Wlad promote himself? Surely overall he'll make more even if he gives Haye the UK rights Chef?
No. Wlad's income is based from several sources. The german TV money is only part of what he generates. Haye wants to keep half of all of the income that Wlad generates (apart from the fraction that is german TV) and he wants to keep all of the income that he himself generates (being UK PPV) Haye wants more than 50%. It's insane, and his fans that defend this are insane too.
As to the argument that Klits don't deserve SKy money becuase "they aren't generating any of it", I think that's a little much. Obviously Haye is the main draw domestically, but it seems crazy to think that Wlad won't also be driving those PPV buys in the UK. Wlad-Haye is THE FIGHT and the UK will buy it because of that. Yes, Audley will do great numbers there (but would they really be higher that Haye-Wlad), but there will be little money coming in elsewhere. Haye-Wlad will do tremendous numbers in the UK (precisely because of Wlad's involvement too) and it will generate dollars worldwide. So to me, even though Haye is the more important factor in considering the UK money, you can't dismiss Wlad's involvement and all in all 50/50 of the entire pie (including the revenue generated outside the UK which wouldn't occur without Klit) seems more than fair
I hear all the time on here "Wlad promotes himself, Wlad has business accumen" Well I'm sorry, should Haye suffer for Wlads $3.5 million per fight deal with RTL? Should he? I don't think so. That was his choice, should Haye shell out the extra because of this? "But Wlad wants the people to see his fights for free", well fine, that's Wlads choice and something he should pay for, not Haye. Wlad would make a shitload more $$ on PPV. If he doesn't wish to take that route then it's for his shoulders to bare, not Hayes.
