A complicating factor in the Lee stoppage was Lee's unusual character. The guy is so scrappy that no matter how badly he's hurt, he continues to fight as if he's got his wits about him. But that's misleading: Lee's combativeness masked how bad he was really hurt.

That fight got to the point where Vera could not miss with the right hand. He was just walking in and blasting away at will. Molino/Lundy was headed that same direction FAST!

I think folks need to give the ref the benefit of the doubt a little on these. They guy is much closer to the action and can see the fighters reactions much better than we can.

Sometimes we see situations where one guy is winning the boxing match, but the other is winning the fight, and sometimes you can see the end coming quite awhile before it actually arrives. I thought this was that type of fight.

    Still a good prospect.
He lost cause he should have grabbed and held.

Maybe it will make him a better fighter.

Ironically BOTH fighters should have gone to the body more.

In a way this fight has comparisons to Manny vs Floyd. Even if Floyd outboxes Manny for 8 rounds with little knock out power and his weak chin it all goes out the window.
Then you also have the nice little back up insurance policy that Manny is the better and quicker boxer.
Did not think it was such a bad stoppage after the replay showing his hands drop and not throwing one punch back. In retrospect it was a good stoppage. If his hands did not drop it would have been a very early stoppage.

Not bad stoppage at all. The bad stoppage was Jones/Garcia fight. Neumann should be ashamed of himself, esp, in this day of instant replay. How can he justify that?

Nah, it was a good stoppage. Lundy looked like Jermain Taylor vs Froch when he dropped his hands for that split second. That's what cost him, not to mention when the ref came he didn't complain.
