Donaire grew up partly in the US and partly in the PI. If he finished most of his school in the PI, that automatically gives him a leg up on Manny. English is compulsory there. My wife speaks great english. Her accent isn't as thick as my dad's and he's been in the US for almost 30 years. He didn't teach me and my brothers tagalog because he wanted to improve his english.:-(

My first thought and interpretation, reading the thread title was..

Nonito was preparing himself, psychologically for a future fight and fighting that specific match in his mind, when he suddenly had a nervous breakdown and became mentally broken.

    Like a freak out.

    Weird image.

I rate Donaire but he needs to stop fighting these journeymens. Good video though.

it is not his fault though. tried fighting montiel and darchinyan again but this guys never want to fight him. donaire is a case of being a high risk but low reward for these guys.

He comes off as very intelligent in this vid. I wonder if what' he's saying are all true especially about studying his opponent real time. That is a very very hard thing to do. Bound to be great if he can really do that.

Donaire has sparked my attention with this vid. I have no problem with Vic but I loved Donaire's ko over him I hope he follows up from that victory. He seems to know his ****.

his only problem is he has trouble getting off first. If he fights someone who likes to stick and move, he will have trouble counterpunching and will be forced to make the fight. That'll be a real test for him.
