I dont see how he is low reward. He is the number 4 p4p, whoever beats him elevates their status greatly!

How about Donaire vs Rigondeaux? That would be a big fight right there and they both are even skillwise.

And Montiel is? He's probably the biggest PPV star below 118. Id say bigger than Darchinyan even, atleast he has the Filipino fanbase.

My money is on Rigo. I think Rigo's skill is top 3 p4p, the guy was schooling Penalosa in the gym apparently...

Good fight im leaning towards Rigo.. but somehow I think Donaire finds a hole in Rigo's game and exploits it..

    On Donaire
    Mentally

He trains in the same Gym that Ward does in San Leandro.. They both approch fights with a mental gmeplan.. They share game im sure by being friends and supporters of each other.. its not coencidental that they approach boxing with a strong mental pedigree..

donaire's been in america since he was 10 years old. he lives in the city right next to me in san leandro. when you come that early your practically american in some ways. which is also why i think he has has a hard time getting a strong following from the philipines. it's like the dlh dilema. he will never truly be one of them.

he's not yet at #4 when the fights with montiel is being arranged although he is inside top10 that time. but no complains since montiel took on hasegawa which is a also a very good boxer in a higher weight class. what i'm talking about rewards here is monetary since apparently, the risk of fighting him outweighs what these guys will receive. darchinyan pulled-out apparently because of tv rights which translates to added income.

Damn that was a pretty interesting video, you can learn something new everyday here on esb. On a side note that Tecate commercial was pretty cool.
