I didn't believe he would beat them in 08 and 09, let alone back when he was fighting morales.

There are threads with people saying Diaz would be too big for him at 135. Pacdbest said that pacman would beat dlh , hatton and cotto years ago, and people thought he was a joke

I personally would not think it far fetched except for DLH. In 2004 Cotto was just up and comming as was Hatton, neither of them were proven world champions yet.

i remember when he beat MAB the first time, i was at a bar and at that time mayweather was either @130 or 135, and i said to my friend, "he and mayweather would be a hell of a fight". people at the bar almost kicked me out saying i must be underage, or i'm crazy, i was dropped on my head when i was a baby, and other ****. if only i can see those people at the bar now!

In 2004 Hatton and Cotto were irrelevant, and fighting at higher weight classes. Wouldn't really be an observation that many would make.

If I was told that Oscar would weigh in at 145lbs, require an IV drip and eventually be lighter than Pacquaio on fight night, then that win wouldn't surprise me. A prime Oscar at 147lbs would have literally destroyed Manny.

    Hatton ain't in his league.

Cotto is a superb win despite the beating from Margarito.

I honestly remember thinking after the collazo fight "hatton better never fight above 140 again"
