What the **** are you talking about, he's talking about the stoppage.

    Note where he says STOPPAGE.

Yep. although I said JML would get him in the second, who knows?
Maybe the ref just jobbed us out of a FOTY candidate(doubtful, but, youknowwhatimsayin)

I'd rather he give the guy a chance and count to 10, probably delaying the process an extra 4 seconds, than stop the fight at 6 when the fighter is trying to get up.

Damn, you guys that didn't want the ref to stop it must have been waiting to see Juanma put the guy in a coma.

Your right. I know they prolly stop it becomes his eyes are gone but FFS you do have 10 sec for a reason.

10 count or not, it proved the ref's decision was a good call, as Concepcion was stumbling all over the place when he finally got up. No need in seeing him take additional punishment

DO yoou think seeing Juanma down surprises me or make me feel bad??? The sport is call boxing. Anything can happen. I actually thought Concepcion was going to be a harder fight. I still not confident about Juanma against MArquez or Gamboa. But the fact is Concepcion only got a lucky punch tonight. It was an anhiliation. And he was finished when the referee stopped.

Hahaha, I'm not disagreeing with your points:D, I'm just responding to Ricky's comment that the fact the referee let Concepcion go after the first knockdown was wrong, which it wasn't. It wasn't, right? :blood

Exactly. The last thing we want is fighters being put in a coma or dying.

Here's the thing, as Concepcion was attempting to get it, he fell down again.

There was no need to count to 10, thats the thing.
