There was already speculation on how the new contract would be a lot less favorable to GBP. Who knows what HBO will offer them now? Maybe they'll have to get Oscar back in the ring.

De La Hoya needs to ditch that sorry excuse for a human being, Schaefer. I know it was his idea to do the creative financing tricks and get GBP into this mess. I know that Schaefer played a big part in helping Oscar form GBP, but it's long past the time that he threw this mealy-mouthed lawyer to the curb so that Schaefer can have the chance of joining up with another slime ball like himself, Bob Arum.

Bob Arum been doing it for years. Who do you think ODH learned it from? Bob Arum was penalized for shady **** by the boxing orgs. Floyd claimed Bob did the same to him. Its all business and boxing is corrupt to fighters using roids to promoters covering that up as well as financial mishandlings.
