I remember he used to be a brilliant boxer. Great workrate and boxing brain. Would you say he was genuine world class in his prime? His performance against Jorrin was class and the heart he showed in the Chi fights was amazing.
Brodie was World Class, he beat Jorrin fare and square and got the most disgraceful decision given against him...:-( It was a tough Division...:yep Scott Harrison was tough and huge at the weight too, that was always going to be tough for Mikey...:yep I wonder if he ever got past getting mugged by Jorrin...:think
World class. Here's his fight against Swain: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=209594 Any other fights you want uploading (just not the Jorrin one!) and I will try and see what I can do :good
Yeah, he was world class. Unfortunate for him that he was on the wrong end of a dodgy result against Jorrin, and that he then ran into two brick walls in Injin Chi and Harrison. Under different circumstances he could easily have won a world title, and even hung onto it for a while.
From what I can remember it was a good fight and a good performance from Brodie. I still have the Woodhall vs Branco fight to upload for OllyC, but after that I will try and get it uploaded :good
Definitely World Class and a hllacious body snatcher. One of my favourite fighters. Just seems they don't make 'em like that these days. Shame we never got to see him square off against Oliver. Now that woulda been some fight. Jorrin decision was just horrible.
