Stemming from contentions on another thread, I have pitted an ol' timey "giant" against a modern misfit, though one with good power, high work rate and excellent stamina.

Give ol' Jim 6 months to adjust to the modern game and a good 8 week training camp.

    Give Ike his meds.

Jimmy Jeff with the KO. I like his power and ability to take a shot. I feel he can outlast Ike in this fight.

Ibeabuchi by 12 rd decision, both are durable but Ike possibly more powerful and he could snap a jab and box pretty well

Nor was poor old Ike  whatever one says about the skill, the toughness of those 2 was something to behold.

Ibeabuchi is the most overrated hw of all time - aside of Tua. He won´t be able to hang in with an atg hw without a big weight advantage and even than I wouldn´t bet on him. Jeff late round TKO.

Ike would knock him out around the mid-rounds, much stronger, better boxing skills, better conditioned to fight at a high pace.

He does have about 15-25lbs on Jeffries and Jeffries is the man that relied on having 20lbs on his opponents not Ike. I don't rate Jeffries as an ATG either, certainly not with his lower skill level, even if I did though, boxing has progressed as a sport and his skills would get shown up

Ridiculous, as you've been told, Jeffries was a smaller and less skilful opponent, Ibeabuchi maims him.

Yeah but we all know you have a racist agenda and aren´t to be taken serious in these circumstances. :good

20 pounds don´t mean much at hw. Ibeabuchi was shown up by much smaller Byrd before catching him with a lucky punch. Ike is overrated. Jeffries is an atg.

    1. As racist as your grandparents were to the Jews? It seems you have the racial agenda claiming Ike couldn't handle a big man, when he's fought heavier men, when it was Jeffries who never beat anyone over 200lbs, and then calling Jeffries an ATG when he struggled with past it MWs/Cruserweights. We know you don't know anything about boxing and haven't boxed, so maybe you get a pass

    2. Talking about fights you haven't seen? Ike was breaking him down round on round, its a myth Byrd was outboxing Ike, he was getting his ass kicked way before he got caught. Calling Ike overrated when you haven't even seen his Byrd fight, you're making a fool out of yourself again Bodhi :yep

Says the German water-polo tyrant with an imperial eagle in his avatar. Your bias is clearer than his. For fighters no one has ever seen fight and fighters who never fought blacks.
