And if you believe that, I've got a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn. Obviously, Ruiz was trying to save face. It also didn't help that he was 38 when he fough Haye, so anybody would have seemed fast to Haye. The truth is that Haye has lost a lot of speed moving up the heavy. He not nearly as fast as he used to be.

Haye beats any version of Jones imo.

I like RJJ and he was amazing in his prime but lets be real here, Haye is a fast Heavy and was fast at cruiser, he wins this.

Haye carries his size at heavyweight much better, and I think his style would give Jones problems, Haye by KO.

Haye would knock out Roy - he's too strong and too quick, and Roy's power wouldn't be a big enough deterrent to keep Haye from being aggressive. Roy would win rounds, but eventually Haye would catch him.

p4p it is rjj without a doubt. but as a hw, i cannot believe this is being debated. haye would crucify him at hw.

rjj is fast and athletic but so is haye, infact in terms of hand speed at hw i believe they are similar.

    Lol!

Roy's one of my favourite ever fighters. iv just watched all of fights over the last month actually. Its a good comparison to make. Remember though, talk of roys glass chin is all well and good but david hayes chin isnt exactly aturo gatti's. No doubts tho, it would have been a very interesting fight for sure.

I do think that the lower the weight, roy would dominate more and look his usual untouchable best, yet the higher the weight, haye would become far too dangerous. he'd land at least one on roy and with the power with the heavier weight class even in the first couple of rounds, then itd be guneet for superman i think.
