Not a good fight for either fighter.

For JCCJ - he is way out of his league here. His slow plodding telegraphed punches would get countered by a naturally stronger, bigger power puncher. It would legitimize him if he wins but that has much of a chance as Roger growing new front teeth...

For Pavlik - if he loses or do not KO this can in the first 6 rounds, time to call it quits. Behind Lebron, he is Ohio's second biggest disappointment. Nothing to gain in win (even if it was by decapitation). And everything, I mean everything to loose in defeat.

they are also saying Chris John vs Juanma Lopez.

also this is a good indication that mayweather vs pacquiao is done and arum is putting another show on in dallas.

Pavlik's supposed to be too big and too weak for 160 and considers moving up to 175, whereas Chavez Jr. belongs to 154. I just don't see how's this fight is happening.

Maybe, maybe not. If Pac-Mayweather is done, then it wouldn't be a great business decision for Arum to put together another big PPV within a close time frame to that one.

At 160? We don't know if Kelly can really fight at that weight any more.

    Ok Hermit... Let me repeat...

There is absolutely nothing about either fighter that suggests Pavlik will do anything less than beat him to a bloddy pulp. It's the only feasible outcome.

Duddy/Chavez was a WBC title eliminator. I'll be surprised if Junior risks his status.

Furthermore, I just don't see how Pavlik can make 160 after struggling with weight since 2005. So far the rumours of KP staying at 160 came from anonymous sources inside Top Rank. I wonder if these are the same sources that announced Pavlik/Froch about 5 minutes before Showtime announced the super six:think

We don't know if he can fight at the top level at all any more. His weight needs to be 160 because he doesn't come close to beating a top 168lber.

Pavlik by brutal KO. JCC jr. doesn't have the foot and hand speed to beat pavlik which you need.

I thought jcc jr was supposed to fight mayorga. Either way i see a loss coming for jr. I do think pavlik is very close to finished, but he would beat jcc easily imo.

I've been waiting for somebody to knock out Chavez Jr. for a while. It would be sweet if it was Pavlik, but I'm more realistic in thinking it's going to be Cotto.
