Nice kid, great dad, but raw novice.
Every single amateur in America has won some type of Golden Gloves! Trust me.
His chin is exposed with each left and he jerks his head with most rights.
So what does the Floyd the Chemist do? He has him throwing tricky combinations. Genius!
    Adios.

ive always thought that floyd joy was only able to train kids his way without bringing along individuallitys in them.get the basics sorted before you try things that dont come natural! as for eubank -doesnt look ready at this stage for advanced floyd the mind boggler!

A long way to for that kid. I think he's 19/20 now, having a famous dad might get you Floyd Mayweather as a trainer but that don't mean ****.

It's best that he stays away from the pro's for another 3/4 years, otherwise, he'll get brutalised by Groves and Degale plus the guys below them.

Floyd Sr like most coaches don't teach technique for ****. Eubank Jr is struggling to keep his feet properly placed on the floor for his shots. I would start with that prior to teaching flashy combos.

Fundamentals then the advanced stuff. To many trainers get kudos for training lads who already know how to box. You get the basics then the advancement.

Looks like an amateur really. Might be some raw talent there but his technique is awful at the moment.

roger mayweather is the best trainer in the mayweather family

no not because he trains floyd

just listen to him speak, analyze a fight, he might come across as an ******* but he says things which are pretty much spot on

unlike floyd sr roger doesn't just try defense, he tries to teach everything, look at roger training amateurs, watch the padworks, he makes them focus on fundementals and movement instead of flashy combos.

    yep

like i said in my last post roger is the best mayweather coach, from his corner advice (except for the "box that motha****a"), his gameplans and his gym work, roger predicted the cotto-mosley fight very spot on, he said cotto's jab will dictate the fight and mosley will have trouble.

but best coaches for technique imo are Roach, manny steward, tommy brooks and ronnie shields.
