Ok so im a little confused. The last round consists of the following fights. Ward-Dirrell Abraham-Froch Kessler-Green My prediction and more likely outcome is Ward to beat Dirrell Abraham to TKO Froch Kessler to beat Green With that outcome it would leave the standings like this. Ward - 6 points Abraham - 6 points Kessler - 4 points Froch - 2 points Dirrell - 2 points Green - 0 So who would advance between Froch and Dirrell? It seems everyone is saying Froch but why? whats the tie breaker that im not seeing?
I think most people assume that since Froch beat Dirrell that should be the tiebreaker. But, I believe it is up to Showtime. I don't think any tiebreakers have been released. The other isssue is do you want to show an immediate rematch between Ward and Dirrell which is what would happen if Dirrell got the tiebreaker. Regardless of who wins, nobody expects the fight to be a barnburner.
But then again would you let Froch go instead of Dirrell even though most people saw Dirrell getting robbed one time already. That would just be a tough break for Dirrell Actually 2 tough breaks.
Head to head record determines it if both fighters have the same points. Froch has beaten dirrell therefore progresses
froch would go through as he has a win over dirrell. if you were putting together a tournament could you think of a fairer way?
I'm not sure how many people believe Dirrell got "robbed". I think a lot of people believe he edged it in points. But, I also think the majority of those people would tell you honestly that he fought a very negative fight. And how can you possibly expect to go to your opponent's foreign country, fight the crappy fight he did and take the belt away from the champion.
Sorry but your prediction is wrong, Froch will beat Abraham, cause AA didnt prove nothing in SMW, he beats Taylor by KO who is not a SMW (lucky the KO will save him) and been dominated by Dirrell. So Froch and Abraham will pass to the next round and Dirrell will be eliminated with Green.

No its very neccessary to have a system in place. You cant just say you guys fought you got the win so you go on. There has to be something else in place. I mean this is a huge opportunity to just point back to 1 fight and use it as the tie breaker.
Well if Froch and Dirrell tie where is no other way to do it that let Froch through, would be massive traversty if Dirrel went through seeing as he lost to froch.
One belt might not make it into the semi's. The winner of Kessler/Green could miss out. Then the tourney doesn't unify and loses significance. So much for having one true champ.
