Mosely KO'd Vargas Mayorga and Margo and he cant KO the world champion of the reality tv circuit come on

losing to Floyd doesnt mean your shot or past it well actually he did kind of end the careers of Hatton Baldy and Judah but Shane wins this fight he is not as shot as we would like to think

 

Anyone know the odds?

 

KO Kidd, I am a Mosley fan and actually don't think he is washed up. I think he would KO Margarito again, if they fought. But its a bad style match up. Not a bad match up 'at his age' as Shane_Erich, said, but bad stylistically for him. Sure he took out mayorga, margarito and vargas, but they are all brawlers. Forrest (who lost to Mora), wright, and mayweather all fight like mora. Best fights for him would be pac or hatton or a margarito rematch

 

Mosley KO. That is all. Time to move on......

Mosley completely gassing by the third round was not due to Mayweather.

 

Mosley wasn't considered "shot" by most people until he lost to Mayweather, one of the smartest boxers in the ring nowadays. He lost not because he was "gassed" but because Mayweather outboxed him. If he was so gassed he wouldn't have been more active in the second half of the fight. Needless to say Mora is no Forrest, Wright, or Mayweather so Mosley should take the W but not counting Mora out though.

 

I hope I'm wrong, but I have a bad feeling about this fight. I can't stand the idea of Mosely losing to Mora, but it could very well happen.

i dont believe mosley is shot, i saw enough in the floyd fight to believe he still has it.

but i think mora's style is all wrong for him. this is the guy that made forrest look old, yes he isnt a great fighter, but he is good at what he does. and i think his style is not good for mosley.

then again, do we know what mora's beard is like? mosley can always hurt him i suppose.

hmmm maybe not as clear cut as i thought.

but i would be shocked if mosley won easily.

 

I'm playing devils advocate here but if Mosley tightened up and couldn't throw punches when Floyd was leanin gon him, what is he going to do when a natural 160lber is leaning on him.

I guess it makes things more interesting though because Mora does have a good shot. Bad fight for Mosley IMO.

It also worries me that Shane got offered 60-40 for Sergio Martinez but chose this fight first. Maybe he wants to see what he has left?

 

martinez would be at a catchweight of 156, plus you dont just jump from a loss to floyd T 147 to a fight with the middleweight champion of the world!
