Haha! That's the first time I've seen you admit that. I'll agree with you to the extent that Silva's behavior in the Maia fight was a bit deplorable but as long as he keeps winning he gets a pass for some reason - like Mike Tyson. He's starting to become a fascinating freakshow character study. The fight with Sonnen will bring out another brilliant performance from Silva and all will be forgotten.
I hope he gets busted the fck up to tell you the truth. There is nothing more abhorrent than this clown posing to be a humble man (bowing, shaking hands and ****) yet in reality he is an arrogant **** of a man. You watch this mans progression, he bows, acting like hes some zen master, then proceeds to play air guitar, taunts his opponents, calls Rich Franklin his toughest opponent right after he barely scraped by Hendo. Hes got not one iota of sportsmanship. He deprives fans of what they paid to see! I swear even Dana winces at his antics.

The thing about Sonnen, he's a version of Sheilds, slightly more entertaining I think because he actually inflicts some damage. He suffers the same problem as most post Hughes wrestlers, he is terrible at subs. Look at his record. He decisions everything.
i hope Silva knees this ****ers nose inside his ****ing cavities . Sonnen is trash. the guy lost like 2 fights ago and isn't even top contender. This is just gonna be another example of why grapplers with no striking are one dimensional.

Sonnen is a total **** as well, talking **** about the Nogueira Brothers and Cro-Cop in the build up to this fight. Like the guy above said, if the trash talk was him simply saying he'll kick Andersons ass then that's fine, but why bring up other people because they have some sort of affiliation with Silva? Especially when the guys you're bringing up are legends who have aceived a hell of a lot more than Sonnen ever has.
I don't think Sonnen's trash talk is very good. It struck me as false generic ranting abuse. I mean was he so outraged that Silva did not entertain the UFC audience enough? is this is genuine hatred and disgust for a fighter showing perceived cowardice. The whole thing is ridiculous. I love trash talk but Sonnen is not very good at it. It's a stupid matchup anyway, surely the real fireworks would be Silva fighting a Chris Leben style stand-up fighter.
I haven't read all the replies, just the first page, but I think what he means is that he'll retire him from the UFC. Not as a retirement to his MMA career.
Look, thats your opinion. Heres mine. Id rather you let me know how much of a dick you are from the get go. With Chael, whether he talks alot of ****, you know where he stands he aint pretending to be a likable guy. In the ring where it counts the most (not to hype up a fight), he has always been respectful. I was the biggest fan here of Anderson and Lyoto if you read my earlier post everyone was ragging on me. But what I dont like the most is false humility, you know pretending to be a nice guy then shows no ****n class. Another thing is making a mockery of the sport (which is still trying to grow) and cheating the fans of their money. PPV is $49.99, its not cheap then you get a main eventy of clowning around? **** that! Thats why I would love Chael to smash Anderson.
