Any fighter who gets an 82 page thread should think he is the bollocks or very controversial.

Eh lads, what a pisser for the fight to be off!!

Wonder how much this has to do with the Hattons? They must have something "bigger" in the pipeline for the pull out to happen!

And why leave it until the day of the bids, the ****s. An early indicator would have been nice for fwank to have sorted something else out early doors!

Jesus Avid. This is still going. You've done well here mate.

Agreed though, we need a fight lined up.

haven't been posting as regular as i normally do at all to be honest, but am still following the scene. It's all gone west since magee pulled out of the bids, and then said he would fight the winner of prizefighter for his euro belt. I pissed myself laughing when it turned out to be mendy, who is inelligible for the title.
    3 things will happen IMO;
    defend the lonsdale another time
    surprise title fight against stieglitz
purse bids re-started for the magee fight.

I suppose this isn't a bad thing for smigga though, make sure his cuts have healed properly before going in again.

I believe Quigley is holding out for a chance to fight paul again too. It would be an interesting fight to watch again, not sure many of the wider boxing public would want to see it again though

I'd like to see it again. I was team Quigley for that one (and would be again) but had Smigger up by two rounds at the end. Close decision but correct decision in my book. Problem is that Quigley has done nothing since though to suggest it could go any different.

If Magee is unwilling then Smigger's camp need to make a title fight happen. Need to jump on this form and take advantage of the upper tier in the weight being tied up to fight each other.

dodson or quigley would have pissed the prizefighter tournament IMO. But, yes you are right, Quigley needs to show something could be different before being given a chance to get back in with smigga.
There are fights out there for him, it would just be nice to know from alleged what the plans are really

Exactly the same here :lol:, mainly because all of the fans around me booed him which was unfair imo as he's still from Liverpool after all. However, I've gotta say my allegiances changed a few times during the night but on the whole Smith deserved it. Didn't Warren say straight after there would be a rematch? That would be a good fight for me if the Magee 1 didn't come off. It was certainly a better night than the Smith-Dodson one.

Yeah.... Mark Burdis started stuttering ''Frank Warren says there will be a rematch'' not long after the decision

Isn't he supposed to be an actor?

How the **** does he learn his lines..... he makes about 32 mistakes each time he intro's a fight on Sky :-(

Smith vs Dodson was a **** fight, the only good thing was the balls that Smith showed to stay in there with the bad cut. Dodson hardly did anything barring a couple of rounds that he won clearly.

Smith vs Groves is the fight :yep
