Hey all I have been watching the UFC since the beginning. I remember getting a UFC ppv back in the day I think the 1st one I purchased was UFC 3 (thanks dad) my pop used to pay for all my boxing and ufc ppvs back in my jr high and high school days. Me and all the boys watched every single ufc ppv and I have remained a UFC fan all these years and still love the sport!! Had watched some Pride fights here and there on you tube but never to many. The other night Spike was showing "Best of Pride" series which I dvrd about 4 hours of. And man was I impressed!! There were some amazing fights, many with UFC fighters past and present. I noticed there are a few more things allowed, so my question is which one do you like better, I know Pride is gone now but still which one? Thanks.
PPV, here in Missouri you could get them. I may have been 4 but it was either 3 or 4. I remember buying the first 2 on VHS.
Pride was better. It actually had the appearance of something you should be buying on ppv. I have purchased more UFCs, I'm not trying to say they suck. The UFC just looks dingy, and like they barely have enough money to put the card on. To use a boxing comparison, Pride looked more like HBO. The UFC looks more like Shotime.
Pride Fc was the shitttttt. I remember when ufc would send their fighter in the pride fc total elimination tournament and most of them get their ass whoop Chuck Liddell KO Overeem before he became the HULK then Rampage jackson whoop his ass My boy vitor belfort also went and loss in the tournament.
