im not sure this is true, as far as i can gather booth and haye have said they prefer viatli to wlad.

but vitali says no because wlad won the coin toss.

yes haye fought valuev instead but who wouldnt? he got more money plus an easier fight plus a title belt.

that was then, this is now. things change. remember when vitali was a euro bum with no heart? but he soon became a man on the fringe of greatness when he went toe to toe with lewis.

haye and vitali should happen, noone wants vitali vs valuev/briggs/austin

Like I said.. Im not big on pineapple head, but Thompson????

At least Briggs has a punchers chance in the first 4 rounds or so. Thompson will be just like the Wlad fight. Thompson doesnt have any thing that would bother or concern Vitali.

    REMEMBER GUYS:
It is still in talks... Nothing is set, signed yet... just was letting you know whats happening..... Im still hoping Valuev steps back into the picture... Vitali has been talking to lots of guys.... we will know soon

Vitali's best option would be Valuev or Adamek.

After that, Briggs is not a terrible alternative.

so is it k2's stance that haye must first fight wlad before vitali?

that the brothers deal between them not K2..

Wlad had Haye (fight off) Vitali tried... then Wlad said. "well now its my turn again" and I think it will stay that way... Maybe... at this point I dont know what the brothers want to do about Haye. I do know... if Haye thinks (wants) more then 50%, a fight will NEVER happen

why you think it should be Haye who picks a champ to fight? whatever, carry it on - new excuse, Vit ducks Haye.

one more thing, could you give a little hint who you expect Vit to fight next (ofc despite Haye)?

I don't mind this fight at all. Vitali is clearly over the hill so this is about the level of opposition you can expect from him now. Kind of ironic when Haye gets criticized for milking his fans isn't it. Vitali is being protected from fighting Haye by his lil bro. That much is obvious. Coin toss, my turn. What a load of ****.

Jeezus read my posts. i dint say anyone ducked anyone.

it was a genuine question. i respect their decision but think it is childish.

i would like to see him vs solis, adamek or chagaev(assuming haye aint an option)

I actually love the fight. IT won't be an upset from my point of view. But it will be explosive early and Briggs might even be able to pull off the upset. I doubt it but the power Briggs has is crazy and if he does catch Vit he could be in trouble. The problem I see is Shannon just doesn't have any stamina for 12 rounds and the punches that Vit will land will ensure Shannon doesn't see round 12. The early part of the fight is what interest me. Anything can happen.

Oh, sorry then. Thought you were suggesting Vit is avoiding Haye. Anyway, despite this childish decision from Klits, i guarantee you that if Haye starts his "brilliant" trash talk particularly towards Vit, the fight will be very likely to happen. Maybe its just me, but i cant see any reason Vit would turn down a callout from Haye... or perhaps, Klits presume that Wlad vs Haye is much more profitable than Vit vs Haye and they dont believe one of them maye lose it so they want to provide a fight that generates more $$ since they know there will not be any rematch.

    What about this:

Vitali fights Audley "A-Bomb" Harrison @ Wembley and Haye fights Briggs on the undercard?

Hmmm im not sure wlad vs haye would be more profitable at this point.

i could be wrong but i guess vitali is a bigger draw, certainly in the uk anyways.

but for legacy reasons it makes more sense, if vitali does win it is 2 belts each

I like Briggs and think this could be an entertaining fight early. Vitali will take over and ko Briggs in the second half of the fight. I'd prefer Vitali to face Haye, Solis, Adamek, and a few others before Briggs. But a fight with Briggs is comparable to or better than fights withSosnowski, Austin, Valuev, Peter rematch, etc.
