It was his chest routine for Mr olympia dude!!!! I quoted the **** in here earlier.... he was ending with sets of 4 at 415 lbs he was starting with 15 of 275. The best bodybuilder in history!!!!!! Come on man.... Why would wlad being matching arnold in benching? Let alone you being able to do it to. Post a picture of yourself.
go to golds Gym in Venice CA... you will see guys doing huge huge numbers. 225 18 times is not that much
You said times 20????? 20 times of 275... you then said you tried and could only do 15??? I am confused. If you max out 225 20 times, you are not even going to come close to 275 15 times. That is anatomically impossible.
it was a different day... not the same day I did 225... the next time we lifted we tried a max... I did 275 15 times... and ONLY 1 set what is so hard to understand
No no no, we're talking you saying YOU did 275 15 times..... You then said your max was 355. Where is your picture? That is impressive ****.
yes.. Like I said my MAX was 275 15 times, with spotters 2 years ago I can do 225 18 times . I dont do it every time.... nor does wlad.. but we have MAX days Ill look for a pic yes 355 once.... thought I was going to **** myself
Seriously, 275 15 times, you should probably become a professional body builder. That is the work out regimen of gigantic NFL players and top level body builders.
top NFL guys to 225-250 upwards of 30 times. I would have to train again hard to get to the 275 15 again.... hurt my elbow.... I dont lift the max anymore like I did... I was kinds obsessed with working out 2 years ago......so when you workout 10 times a week:roll::roll:... you can lift heavy fast there are a couple old pics in my album ....
I've been looking it up online, 275 15 times is pretty phenomenal. And no one benches 225 30 times, that isn't even a reasonable workout. That does nothing but burn you out. What application would require you to be able to bench something 30 times? I was big into working out for a long time, that makes 0 sense. I know NFL players are not burning out on 225, not even body builders are.
Is that you in your profile?? You do look pretty stout, 355 seems like a little more than I would suspect you bench.
http://www.timinvermont.com/fitness/orm.htm One rep max calculator. ^ 275 for 20 reps, Klitschkos max would around 583 lbs. 275 for 15 reps equals a max of around 450 lbs- plus or minus about 5 lbs either way. I call BS.
I used to know the calculation for it, but I haven't been a hard core gym enthusiast in like 2 years. I remember each rep equating to so much weight.
If you know your "x" rep max, and you want to find out what your 1 rep max should be for that exercise, devide the coefficent by the corresponding "rep #" Reps/ CoEfficient 1. 1.00 2 .943 3 .906 4 .881 5 .856 6 .831 7 .807 8 .786 9 .765 10 .744 11 .723 12 .703 13 .688 14 .675 15 .662 16 .650 17 .638 18 .627 19 .616 20 .606 275/1 obviously= max 275 lbs 275/ 5 (.856) = max 309 lbs 85 % effort of max for each rep 275/ 10 (.744) = 375 lbs 74 % effort 275/ 15 (.660) = 450 lbs 66 % effort only for each rep. This should be easy weight for you like a warm up.
