I don’t think many of them pass 700 lbs, seeing that 715lbs is the world record in the raw bench press.
According to the bench press calculator a 275lb bench for 20 reps is equivelant to a 444.4 1 rep Bench Press. My guess is around 405-450 range.
Why the **** would they lift 225-250 upwards of 30 times? That is not a real workout and it wouldnt be beneficial work out anyway. You are making this **** up.
It has been stated many times by the Klitchkos themselves that Vitali is the physically stronger of the 2, and Wlad is the more fluid. Which is pretty much apparent when you watch them fight. If they both fought Vitali would come from behind to Ko little bro late.
I can tell your not a football(american) fan or aware of the scouting combines. They have every rookie lifting 225 for as many reps as possible, that is to see how good their combination of strength and muscle endurance are.
True I think it is because majority of people, who doesnt do weights, has wrong impression how much people are lifting. For example if you ask random guy in the street (in Finland) how much they bench, they are almost always saying close to 100kg (220lbs) When in reality new guys in the gym usually struggle with 70 kg (150lbs).
Sure they can have test where they measure how many they can do. But as a workout it doesnt make a sense
NFL Players are very strong but you are exaggerating on their lifts. I know for a fact that there is only about 2 or 3 playersin the NFL benching around 600. Most Nfl offensive lineman are in the 400-500 range a much smaller number in the 500plus range. Larry Allen is supposedly the strongest ever and ive heard his max was anywhere from 625-675.
ElTerrible threatened to fight me, then told me he could bench 225 and did MMA for 10 years.... I laughed at him for it because he clearly had no idea how to fabricate weight lifting ability.
I don't get how so many people here can't read or can't think. The guy says multiple sets of 225x18. So this whole "Only drops by 3 reps when you add 50 pounds" argument makes no sense. 225 x 18 x 3 (nothing mentioned about this being to failure) compared to 275 x 15 x 1 (to failure). Yeah, that's perfectly logical. Then we got some dick comparing it to to Arnold Schwarznegger, when in reality it matched a fraction of the guy's workout. **** me, it was more like Arnold's warmup than his actual workout. I get the feeling that a lot of people who are seriously into weights have got some ****ed up personality disorders.
